Unrelated to anything, but apparently the proper way to peel/prepare a pomegranate is to open it underwater because the bits you eat float. Then you just skim 'em off and use 'em for whatever.

The first time I was presented with a Pomegranate, I'd recently won some fish and got an aquarium. My mom prepped the pomegranate out of sight and carefully removed the edible parts from the inedible. Then she claimed they were fish eggs she'd found in the tank.

I don't know if skywhales were domesticated or not, so could I assume my project last round was to domesticate them?

EDIT: Those doing projects I encourage to check against the tech tables (now in 2 posts!) in the current Rules & Admin thread as there were some discrepancies I recall noting though I didn't keep a record. With it in mind that the table takes precedent over personal records it's encouraged players check against the table to determine their progress and PM me with links to actions if any have been missed so errors can be rectified.

Also the naming on some of my projects seems weird. The Visionary Academy should be listed as the Mind Conference one and the other three BigTop [2/2] projects should be University expansions.

As for names, I try to use the names used by people in actions if they give actual names. If they don't I try to make it make sense.

EDIT: Those with corrections need to provide every action with the Round it occurred in.

If I want to do a trade with someone else, who has agreed to it, is that one of my actions and diplomacy, or do I simply note it on the IC thread as a non-action?

You can do it as an diplomacy action, or you can include it as a sub-action if you attend an event. So if you want to trade alot, join an event and trade away!

If you are at an event you can make any number of trades as sub-actions to the action of attending (usually Diplomacy). If not, for whatever reason, you can perform a bilateral trade with a single action (conventionally Curiosity). Because events offer such good value it's almost never worth performing trades outside them unless you really have to, and even if there's no event on that you're attending it's often worth holding one specially even if it's just a trade fair or the like.

Either way, please note any trades clearly in the IC post. Some people put bullet-point lists under event attendance actions, others do a spoiler for event sub-actions, or something similar. Either is fine so long as I can find it easily when I come to do the trade updates (otherwise I might well miss them).

I think we all remember what happened last time. That being said, this is an official invitation to all the world, even Guilder, to attend the Grand Ball in Palas Benedictus, Bjurnja, Protectorate of the Caercian Consortium. A thread will be up once I write one so maybe an hour or so.

There's no precedent of any kind on my end, but no promises can be made, I haven't decided who I'm sending to this "little" event yet.

Murgen, you cannot adapt techs with a project anymore. You can use a C5 to do it, but that's the only way to do it nowadays. (or I have missed something, but last time I checked, it was impossible to do it)

On the plus side, it's almost explicitly already allowed; given that it's a large animal. If there's a riding tech for it, then it's golden.

Not all of them have been officially destroyed, and at least one has appeared and been completely unaddressed so far. Also it seems likely that Dreadlove may be quietly stepping into his assassin's shoes. Though technically the Swords are all heretics even by Jaaku Na standards.

Yup. You might like to put it in your actions too but you only need to do that if you're doing stuff at the event other than RP (like trade, marry off characters, etc.)
