The Biting Knife Nightclub: Here there be partying monsters!

[Cyber Punk]

"Ah, so this is about self-hatred, then." Ezra exclaims. He looks off to the side, then leans in closer, raising a cup full of bloody liquefied metal, which he sips out of as he studies Deadra. "I had to learn to live with it, you know. Learn to stop hating myself for becoming 'this'. Before then, I could never truly be happy."

He looks at her some more. "So, how old are you, dear one?"

[Felandria]

Deadra looks at Ezra, vaguely embarrassed.

Twenty four.

[Cyber Punk]

Ezra smiles. "I died at the age of twenty-seven, about three days before I was to be wed. My fiancee couldn't take it and died of heartbreak. For about fifty years, even before the undead became the dominant species in my world, I hated myself. I needed a target, and the outside world was unfortunate enough to be around me."

He sighs as he remembers his past. "If she hadn't come into my life, I might have become 'The Dreaded' by now. I'm sure you know what I mean. She's no longer with us." When he says that, something dark and scary flashes in his eyes for a second. "But her impact has never left."

[Felandria]

I feel so empty, so lost.

If you're right and my mission won't solve anything, then what the hell am I supposed to do?

[Cyber Punk]

"Find a purpose in life that does not involve screwing people over. You can start by atoning for your past misdeeds." Ezra smiles. "Darling, the only one that can save you from yourself is you. Now, shall I venture a guess? You said those words to me about wanting to terrorize others because you're convinced that as a vampire, you have to be evil. Is that right?"

[Felandria]

Ezra purses his lips and leans in slightly.

"Your cruelty arises from misery, as did mine. You end the happiness of others, hoping to increase yours. I knew of someone like that." He pauses for a bit. "When it was thought that he died, no one cried for him. He came back and mended his ways. He died for real, and people were sad."

He shakes his head, sadly. "Do you truly believe that ridding everyone of their happiness will increase your happiness? Killing, causing fear to feed your own power, make yourself feel better. That isn't sustainable, oh my, no! It won't bring back what you've lost, for one."

[Shadowcaller]

"When one asks someone for their thoughts, dear heart, one typically offers something in return. A small coin is suitable," Eschelle explains, slowing as they talk more rapidly. "As is a kiss, another thought... whatever your imagination deems worthy."

"A small coin?" Ambrosia raises her eyebrows. "You value my kisses greatly apparently." She shakes her head. "But fair is fair..." She will then attempt to kiss Eschelle on the mouth. It will just be a quick peak.

[Murkus]

[The Dance Floor]

Ambrosia succeeds in pecking at Eschelle's lips! The tall woman stops them mid-step. She blinks slowly, one eye hidden behind fat pink curlicues. In a second or two she resumes their dance. "W-well. I owe you a thought now, don't I?"

[Shadowcaller]

"That was the deal wasn't it?" Ambrosia asks with a smile. Didn't Eschelle expect that?

Ezra purses his lips and leans in slightly.

"Fair is fair," Eschelle smirks, seeming to have regained her composure. For the most part. Her steps in their slow dance seem to have intensified or smoothed over. They glide together in a slow circle. "I... am thinking that I would not mind doing this again. With you, dear heart. I am also, perhaps, thinking I would not mind more of your kisses." Eschelle says it all in flowery, polite speech. There! Two thoughts for one. Which technically means Ambrosia owes her another, but she won't say any such silly thing. Eschelle is not that kind of lady.

Eschelle's obsidian skin takes on a slight pink luster, glowing beneath the surface of the ectoplasm like cracks upon the slopes of a volcano.

[Shadowcaller]

The scholar laughs. "I have never kissed another woman like that before. That's why I did it in fact, by pushing your boundaries you evolve yourself. Becoming something greater. I'm glad I did so well on my first try, this body isn't perfectly in tune to me to be honest." She grins at Eschelle and flexes her wrists a bit.

[Murkus]

"It felt quite fine, dear heart," says Eschelle, smiling at her smaller companion. "And... would it please you to see me again? Perhaps over dinner?"

[Shadowcaller]

Ambrosia blinks and crosses her arms over her chest self-consciously. "Ah... I can't see any reason to say no to that offer." She truly can't even if she hadn't expected that reaction from Eschelle.

"Then say yes," Eschelle says, taking her hands to Ambrosia's shoulders and rubbing them gently. The big woman's smile is just as gentle. "I'm told my cooking is to die for."

"The thing is, we refuse to let go of these things because we feel it makes us stronger. Then we let go and it's like a weight has been removed."

"It's a deal! Ooohhoohoo! You are adorable beyond words," Eschelle squeaks impishly, tempted very much to squeeze Ambrosia's cheeks. The overformal manner of her scholarly new friend fills her with delight. "How about I come and get you, hmm? Perhaps Saturday evening."

Adorable? Hmph. Not exactly the word she would associate with herself. "Well, I don't have anything booked so let's. But where would we eat? I don't really have any place that we could."

[Murkus]

"What do you like to eat?" Eschelle asks. She glances to one side and decides to try to take Ambrosia's hand. If she can, she'll guide her off the dance floor. "I have a few ideas, but... I would love to treat you. Do you have anything you like?"

[Cyber Punk]

I don't even know where to begin.

"You don't give yourself enough credit, sweet thing." Ezra says, reaching over to cup her face in his hand, if she doesn't move back, that is. "It's very easy to do the wrong thing, but it's more rewarding to do the right thing. Here, I'll help you work through it. Tell me about your feelings, all of it." He leans on the bar, looking into her eyes with his own.

[Shadowcaller]

"What do you like to eat?" Eschelle asks. She glances to one side and decides to try to take Ambrosia's hand. If she can, she'll guide her off the dance floor. "I have a few ideas, but... I would love to treat you. Do you have anything you like?"

"Ah..." Ambrosia hesitates for a moment as Eschelle guides her off the dance floor. "Elephant, elephant meat. I understand it can be considered a bit exotic but, erm, that would be my favorite. Horse meat also works if can't get elephant."

[Murkus]

"H-Oh my," Eschelle cups a hand across her mouth and her eyes widen, then rapidly narrow. Her smile shows. "How easy it is to forget what you are. I will make it so. In fact, I have just the right idea... A friend of mine. He's an excellent cook, you see."

"So?" Eschelle wraps an arm around Ambrosia's shoulders again. "Shall we part ways, for the evening?"

[Shadowcaller]

The scholar clears her throat. "Well, we've had fun haven't we? It has been a rather... lovely evening." She smiles faintly. "I look forward to see what you have in mind for me for this dinner."

[Murkus]

"I certainly hope it is just as lovely," says Eschelle, before suddenly leaning down to lay a little kiss on Ambrosia's cheek. The great tall woman's lips are delightfully soft. "Until next time, precious heart."

With a happy sway to her wide wide hips, Eschelle slinks off through the crowd. It'd be easy to watch her till she leaves the club, considering she's more than likely taller than all present.

Ambrosia blinks as her cheek is kissed. Well, she had kissed Eschelle so this was hardly weird. "Ah, yes. Until next time." She promises, waving good bye to the tall woman. She really should have picked a taller body, it was always strange to be smaller than humans...
