No, as good as the Imp Gang Boss is, we have enough 3s and not enough late-game. Take the Tiger, it's fairly good and fills out our curve better.

No way. It's early in the draft and Imp Gang Boss is ridiculous. I would only pass it up if it was up against something truly strong, and Tiger is only good.

Also, Molten Giant in Warlock is OK. It's not like Handlock, of course, but still. Warlocks DO often end up at 15 or so HP most games, so a (slightly) discounted 8/8 body is nothing to sneeze at.
And frankly Bane of Doom isn't crazy good either, so the decision was definitely not clear.

Experimenter sucks in arena, where it will almost always end up transforming a useful minion into a 1/1 chicken. Golem's not awful, but Demonwrath synergizes amazingly with all the demons we have already drafted.

Gnomish Experimenter is GOOD in Arena.

He either draws you a card in which case it's Azure Drake-level Good, or he gives you a free cheaper Novice Engineer (a 1/1 that doesn't cost you a card)... which is more or less Dragonling Mechanic. Not amazing, but OK.

And please, let's not get into that "hurr durr what if he turns your best card into a chicken " thing: just like with Fel Reaver, a card "burned" has basically no effect: just pretend it was the last card of your deck.

That was not early in the draft at all. That was pick number 19.

Agreed about Gnomish Experimenter though. I wouldn't call it good per say, but it's not bad in arena, and definitely better for arena than constructed.

I still vote for Demonwrath over it though. AoE is very important in arena, and Warlock AoE that may not hurt your own stuff is rare (literally, in this case). Well worth having over a minion like the Experimenter.
