Ross stands up.

Let's go find it.

Lucky grins a bit. "Nothing right now."

He'll ask Civvy to show him his room, then walk inside and rearrange it to his liking. Afterwards, he'll go to the pool, store his things in a safe dimension and jump inside.

"Ahh. It's been so long since Lucky swam in non-irradiated water."

Civvy shows him to the rooms, though the exact one Lucky gets is up to him. So long as it isn't currently being used, any of the rooms were fair game.
If should be noted that the rooms to either side of Civvy are, in fact, taken. They even have name plaques on the door, should one want to check.

Anyway! Then Civvy took her leave.

As they reach the pool, Marlena spots the necklace sitting on the edge.
"There it is!"
She points, at that time also noticing Lucky swimming in the water.

Hallways

Grant is leading Linda down the hallway towards Tobias's quarters. Once he sets himself outside he gives the door several sharp knocks.

He's around here somewhere.

Linda nods and looks around. A few tentative sniffs only confuse her, because she certainly doesn't smell anyone Vulpan besides herself.

Ross looks relieved that Marlena found her necklace. Her adorkable level causes him to be given a sad if she had lost her necklace.

Good... Who is that?

Outside Tobias' Room

Grant nods and crosses his arms.

Like I said, Tobias is the king of the Vulpan around here. They look human so try not to give him the bug eye look?

He asks, dryly.

She looks at the swimmer with curiosity.
"I'm not sure, but..."
She holds the necklace up to him.
"Can you help me put this on? The clasp is tricky enough when you can see it, it's even harder when it's behind my head."
If he takes it, she'll turn around and her hair will raise up in the air to give him access to her neck.

Outside Tobias' Room

Grant acts officerly enough that she instinctively responds as if to a superior.

Ross takes the necklace from Marlena and steps behind her to place it back on her neck.

Linda's response gets Grant to crack a smile.

Marlena holds still for him. She hopes he doesn't have too much trouble with it. It does seem particularly complex, more like a difficult puzzle than a necklace clasp. It looks practically impossible to put on when you can't even look at it.
"It's nothing special. To be quite honest I just found it sitting around in the middle of a field, all clean and shiny and everything."
She gets a little flustered.
"Not that I stole it! I waited for a while to see if anyone was coming back for it."
She is quite the adorkable dork, now that you've made me think about it.

Ross struggles with the necklace. It's quite difficult when he is busy withholding sqees.

A minty smell starts to waft out of the lab---not a processed, sugary mint smell. No, it's the smell of natural mint, raw and freshly crushed. How pleasant, just like grandma's herb garden.

Except anyone who knows this place well enough knows that it's catnip, and the lab's main resident is Pesty---catgirl, nip fiend, and doctor of Worryingly Applied Science. And oh dear, with a smell like that she must be getting zonked out of this dimension on the preferred intoxicant of felinoids.

Gods have mercy.

She gives a suspicious look in Lucky's direction.

Ross leans forward to whisper to Marlena.

We have a guy here that has literally eaten a god like you or I might eat a candy bar. There's enough supernatural muscle around here that there isn't much to be worried about. Plus I've never seen a bad guy come in here to be sneaky or whatever since I've been here.

Marlena begins to turn around, then jumps a bit when he starts whispering, not expecting Ross to suddenly be so close to her, but then she smiles, realizing she's caught him.
"Well if they were being sneaky, of course you didn't notice they were bad guys being sneaky. You would have thought they were good guys being not sneaky."

Ross looks confused a moment before he realizes what Marlena just pulled on him.

Marlena grins, and her hair begins to raise mock-menacingly in the air.
"I am the evil tree queen, here to overtake your watery domain."
