So I stumbled on a article written by a TERF going on about how Trans women's sexual abuse and trauma is just them "imitating" cis women. These people are so vile and self-centered and hateful that they even can't let us have our abuse to be our own but have to make it about them.

Also my mom has threatened with suicide if I don't pass my exam tomorrow. And it doesn't matter what she does, it always turns into guilt tripping about "how we always make her out to be the bad one". I don't know what to do. I'm scared.

She makes the threats and it's everyone else that's being bad? Wow... I am sorry, hon. *hugs*

My date and I (who is fast trending towards bf at this point... now I'm scared ) are getting further into Sense8. So far the protagonists include:

- Transwoman dating a lesbian (Martha Jones, aka Freema Agyeman! Woot! So awesome to see her onscreen again.) The most brutal story turns so far have involved her, sadly.
- Gay male closeted actor in Mexico.
- Cis straight white Chicago policeman.
- Icelandic female DJ living in London.
- Male Kenyan bus driver, whose mother is dying from AIDS.
- German jewel thief/safecracker.
- Female Indian pharmacist.
- Korean businesswoman and kickboxer (played by the extremely talented Doona Bae - loved her in Cloud Atlas and it's good to see her still with the Wachowskis.)

If you haven't watched this show yet I highly, recommend it. It's pretty awesome so far.

I am halfway through episode 6 now and I concur, it is a much watch. I like that a lot of it is slow burn and each character has their own story with the larger one merging nicely in there.

Well I have discovered that driving places by myself is kind of a trigger for depression with me. It doesn't take long, even a ten minute trip to get ice cream is a real downer. Because when I am driving by myself is about the only time my mind is clear enough to remember how empty my life is.

Although I am reconnecting with a friend which is nice. Unfortunately it is not on the initiative of either of us so it might dissolve in a few weeks. But maybe lasting social contact would be nice.

There are a lot of people NIMBing. Some people making threats against his life (which I reported). I, a victim of childhood sexual assault, am the only person standing up for his right to exist somewhere as best I can tell.

And I feel awful... Like, I don't feel like I can do less than I've done and live with myself, but the very topic is stirring up all of the old issues, and I'm being treated as a rape apologist because rape is clearly only ever a women's issue in the minds of at least one person who started attacking me.

So... I could use a hug.

Like, I don't feel like I can do less than I've done and live with myself, but the very topic is stirring up all of the old issues, and I'm being treated as a rape apologist because rape is clearly only ever a women's issue in the minds of at least one person who started attacking me.
