"Well, it goes like this: I was born Rachel Hartley which is the name I use as a junior crime and political reporter at the Times of Midway. Thing is though I started moonlighting about a year and a half ago as an information broker, wanted to diversify, you know? And I needed an alias for that, and before long the alias became a full-fledged identity with documentation and history and everything. So now I'm effectively two different people."

"Yeeeaaahh... Let's just forget all this happened. As a token of apology, I will pay the cost of connecting our Lairs as previously agreed upon. Matter of fact I suspect it's already possible given everything we've gone through together these past few hours."

The spider-woman concentrates for a moment, loosing power from the depths of her metaphysical belly to create the Burrow. Bruno suddenly feels a profound sense of closeness with the two women—though whether that's a good thing with respect to Erelim is anyone's guess—as his Soul rushes from the back of his mind to merge with him.

"There, feeling a little better? There is now a crack in the wall that-a-way"—she points—"which leads to a secret passage under the altar in your Heart. Those particulars seem appropriate if you ask me."

Rachel smiles about as warmly as she can manage.

"Welcome to Midway City's only Begotten brood that I know of. There are two other members currently, I'll let you discover them on your own though. That way, meanwhile"—she points again—"is Arel's area. It's dark and uninteresting, I wouldn't bother if I were you. Especially if I were you, given present circumstances."

so, if I join your brood, I'd need for there to only be way into my part of the lair, since I only have a heart.

Appearing externally to suddenly zone out, Rachel takes control of her Soul and sets off to badger Seth, Bruno, Blaine, and Erelim in that order... Erelim last due to the chance that she'll end up spying on Rachel at some point along the way anyways rather than needing to be sought out.

I figure any interaction with Blaine in this context can go ahead and happen off-screen due to his being an NPC now, the rest of you can decide whether you want to play it out or gloss over it. As I already said in the OOC thread, Rachel intends for the gathering to take place at O'Lorry's after closing time.
