Callins and Aspa.

After another pout of ki blasts, Aspa was breathing heavy, she was like a made animal. Callins knew it was a bad idea, but he thought it would be fun. He snuck up on Aspa, and wrapped his arms around her as she was taking a breather. She was livid now as she was struggling she though she was grappled, for the first few seconds till Callins calmed her with his voice.


"It is ok Asp, I am here. It is only me"

She just pouted as she traced her hands along Callins.
"You could have warned me, I would have killed you by now."

"I could have, but then I would not have been able to tease you so." Callins says with a smirk.
"No why are you so upset? We need to be with the others, they need some one now they are talking about leadership."

Aspa turned around as they looked into each others eyes.

"You should be leader Call, and I am upset since this is all my fault. I told you to go see Kami, to try and learn magic."

Callins simply cups Aspa's face in his hands, at first she flinched, but then let him hold her.

"Don't ever blame yourself, I decided to do this. It was my choice, not yours." He then gives her a gentle kiss.

"Now come back to the group ok." Callins lets his hand drift down to grab hers and floats up pulling her along with him.

with Oxy and Iris

Callins sits down next to Oxy when they finally arrive back, while Aspa stands next to Iris. Aspa certainly was calmer then before, and she was hiding her power level once more. Aspa tapped Iris on the shoulder and motions as if she wanted to talk to the triclops alone. While Callins looks to Oxy.

"What are these Senzu Beans?" Callins asked Oxy, as he was never explained what they were.



While Aspa was with Iris, she looked her dead in the eyes with concern.

"Tri... Iris wasn't? What are you fighting for?"

Aspa tapped Iris on the shoulder and motions as if she wanted to talk to the triclops alone. While Aspa was with Iris, she looked her dead in the eyes with concern.

"Tri... Iris wasn't? What are you fighting for?"

Iris responds to Aspa's motions and heads off away from the group with her.

"What I'm fighting for?"

Iris takes a moment to think, to organise her thoughts. She didn't enjoy talking about this particular subject and was eager to get it over with as quickly and efficiently as possible.

"Vengeance and Duty. That's what I'm fighting for. My homeworld, I don't suppose you've heard of it: was Trion, wild backwater planet even more remote than this place. Inhabited by Triclops' such as myself. Simple culture. Very practical people. Society was built around our nomadic clans. Doesn't matter now. The Arcosians destroyed it all. It's all gone, the people, the culture, the planet's still physically there but it's dead. Barren. As far as I know, I'm the last of my kind. Once I'm- Once we're strong enough, I'm going to avenge my people or die in the attempt. It's my duty.

That's what I'm fighting for."

"So you want to die? I mean that is clear from the way you fight. You are not strong enough to just kill yourself so you try and have others do it for you? Am I wrong?" Aspa asked as her back was turned to Iris. she crunched next to a stream, as she dipped her hands in the water to wash her face from the battle.

The villager leads Ieez to large, two story wooden building. They find the elder in the hall of records, picking up books which were knocked down by the shock from Iris's and arranging them back on the shelf.

The elder is an old woman, her face and hands wrinkled and her long hair bleached by time, but she still stands upright and her dark eyes are still bright.

The villager murmurs to her about what Ieez said. "Magic beans?", she asks, her eyes narrowing. "Yes, I know that tale." The elder searches the shelf for a certain book, flips to the right page, reads for a moment and harumphs.

She discusses with the male villager briefly and then sends him off to look for someone. Then she turns to Ieez.

"I think we can find your beans. But I have to ask you: how much do you know about the man you're dealing with? Kami, that is?"

I know that he's supposedly a deity. I know that he's supposed to be the guardian of this world but is derelict in his duties. I know that he's quick to anger, unwilling to cooperate, refuses any deal that isn't biased in his favor. And I know that his response to two brothers refusing to work for him unless he trains them is to react first with violence, and second by abducting and enslaving a village.

I also know that my companions defeated him in battle, and judging from the words of my companion, he's probably not really the Kami.

"What are these Senzu Beans?" Callins asked Oxy, as he was never explained what they were."

MAgic beans. You eat them, and the heal your wounds, replenish your enrgy and stamina, and make it so you don't have to eat for 10 days... Or 7 if you're a saiyan.

"You know that seems very unhealthy even if it is magical. Do you want me to take a look at your wounds? I believe I have seen your healing technique enough to duplicate it. As well as actually seeing be done by the Namekians."

Aspa

"So you want to die? I mean that is clear from the way you fight. You are not strong enough to just kill yourself so you try and have others do it for you? Am I wrong?" Aspa asked as her back was turned to Iris. she crunched next to a stream, as she dipped her hands in the water to wash her face from the battle.

Iris crouches by the stream, next to Aspa.

"I mentioned the clans before. On Trion, life is harsh and your clan is everything. The greatest honour is to serve your clan well and the greatest shame is to betray the trust placed in you. Every Triclops is expected to put everything they have into their role, whether you're chief, a hunter, a midwife, a storyteller, a warrior, or whatever else. For the perfect Triclops, there is no difference between "life" and "duty". In this respect, warriors have an interesting position.

On Trion, being a warrior carries many perks; you are respected, you are feared, you are never lacking for suitors, you dine on the best foods , you are close to the chief in terms of prestige, and warriors are the only ones permitted to travel outside the clan, to name but a few of these perks. But in return, you are burdened with the greatest of responsibilities. Do you know what the first and highest tenet in the Triclops warrior's code is?

It's death. A Triclops warrior is expected to lay down their life, without hesitation, for their clan. I know dying for others is considered heroic in other cultures, but for a Triclops warrior? It's just expected. It's the bare minimum of what you are required to do. Whether by beast or war, anytime a Triclops dies and it isn't a warrior? That's a personal failure on the warrior's part."

Iris turns to look Aspa dead in the eye.

"I was a warrior. What does it say about me that my entire race is dead, and I'm not?"

Aspa does not look at Iris, she stares at the water.

"It means you fight on for your people, your clan. Sayains are very tribal right now in nature. We are not natives to Planet Plant. We invaded like Space Viking or what have you. You may be the last of your species you may not be. What is important is not that you die with them, not now anyways. A warrior must fight, so fight the battle of memory. Fight so your people are never forgotten. Rather then fight to die. Fight to keep living so you can bring back your poeple. If you can't bring them back, then make damn sure they are remembered."

Thanks to the two womens seclusion, Aspa removes her torso's armor. it is revealed that she did get stabbed a few times and cut by Kami while they were in close quarters, but there is one scar that is visable despite all of that. She works to wash the blood out of her armor and off her skin.

" I know what it is like to want to die. But living is so much more important. It is only those who are so close to death that can truly value life. You know who taught me that lesson?" She smiles gently it was far sweeter a smile then she had ever done before.

"Since I will never be able to make life I know that I should strife forward to be remembered even more. To work for the betterment of my people. A lasting peace you would say. " Her fingers subconsciously trace the abdominal scar as she speaks.

Callins Ship
The Androids arrive at the ship, and 22 goes inside and lays 23 down on same bed they laid Iris down on when she treated.
"Now rest and wait for Callins. You shouldn't have strained yourself like that."
"Urgh. I can already tell I'm gonna feel useless just sitting here. And the group is a bunch of arguments waiting to happen...I need to hold things together..."
"No! No. Stay here and don't think about that. They are all adults. They can handle themselves just fine without you for a while. You've been running around trying to keep things falling apart for two or three days by now and I think its time you got a rest, 23. Besides I think we have common ground now: we all hate slavery! Which means we all love freedom. A good thing to rally them around, no? I mean the only one really working at cross purposes there was Shanakan and he gave up once he realized that he was the only one trying for his solution."
"Hmph."
"Just...don't worry. We've been through a couple fight by now, and I think we're starting to realize that we need to have each others back. Have faith in them."
"If you say so..."

Lagerin's Mansion
...The demon closed his mouth, and the last of the innocent bodies fell to the floor, soulless.
"Finally. I felt as if that took forever."
"One does not rush the devouring of souls. Each one is unique and tastes unlike any other. Therefore the best thing to do when eating one is to.....savor....Just to know that you have tasted something that no one else in the universe will ever taste as well. Ever."
The demon chuckled.
"Now, time to fulfill my end of the bargain."
He lifted a hand and crackling black lightning leapt out at Lagerin and entered into him, he reels as if shocked, screaming as the demonic power infuses him, empowers him and taints his ki irrevocably with demonic energy until it was done and he was standing, panting, the pain ending and much greater power flowing through him. Yes. This the power he always wanted. It flowed through him in ways he could not believe! The price was worth it, in his mind.

Then the demon lifted his hands and eight portals opened up, and eight burly Oni arose, one for each portal, each one had a power level of about 500, if anyone cared. They began to speak.
One: "Why greetings my new master! How shall we start slaughtering?"
Two: "Hm, no, I don't care much for slaughter, I prefer to murder one at a time. To make each kill something special."
Three: "I am more of a torture guy myself. Killing or slaughtering is too quick, you need to make them scream, to break them for proper pleasure."
Four: "My fellow demons, does it really matter? We all humble servants of the Makaioshin. Let us do his unholy work however it pleases us, and therefore him."
Five: "If you think about it, isn't everything people do a form of murder? I mean, isn't taking a step murdering every bacteria and cell beneath our feet, philosophically speaking?"
Five wonders philosophically.
Six: "I'm Grak and I'm the strongest, and this heres my brother, Brak!"
Seven: "No I'm Grak, yer Brak and I'm the bestest, ye grot"
Eight: "KILL. MAIM. BURN. KILL. MAIM. BURN. KILL. MAIM. BURN."
Eight chants this, as if reciting a mantra, anger boiling just below the surface of a constantly tense but still form in martial arts clothes.
Lagerin sighs as the demon in the circle leaves for Makai.
"He gives me idiots for demonic servants to do my bidding. Of course!"

[Frozen_Feet]

[Village around the lookout]

"Ah yes, we're certainly talking of the same man", the ancient woman says with a laugh, but then grows serious. "But unlike us, I can tell you didn't expect him to be like that. While we wait for my son to get back, I think I'll tell you a story."

"This is a tale that's been passed down in our village for generations. Once upon a time, a man lived on the slope of this mountain. He was strong as hundred oxes and very skilled with his hands. He would till the fields with his bare hands and people would go to him to get their tools repaired or ask for advice. All that he did asking for nothing in return. Some people said he was a god, and he would not deny it."

"One day, a little girl went to him. She was very sad because her family's old dog was sick and her father wanted to kill it. The man took pity on her, but he did not know how to treat the dog. So he told her to wait and left."

"A week went by and the man was nowhere to be seen. The girl got into a big fight with her father over treating the sick dog, since winter was coming and the father thought it a waste to give food to a dying animal."

"Then one night, when it was raining, the man of the mountain came back, his clothes tattered and snow on his shoulders. He had in his palm two little green beans. He fed one to the dog and it jumped back on its feet as if it had never been ill."

"When asked, the man told they were magic beans from a far-away land. He had climbed to the top of a high mountain and fought a dangerous beast to get them."

"The tale of the beans spread through the village, and many people came to ask the man for them because they or someone they knew was sick. But because he only had one, he said he would only give it when he'd think it to be important."

"It just so happened that the king of the land was suffering from chronic illness and knew his time was drawing close. When the story of the beans reached him, he sent his advisor with knights as escorts to ask for the bean."

"And so they journeyed to the hut of the man on the mountain. The advisor asked for the bean, but the man refused. Puzzled, the advisor offered the man lots of gold from the king's coffers. But the man didn't want it."

"The advisor then asked if there was anything else the man would accept in exchange for the bean, but the man replied he had worked without pay for so long that if he was one to keep track, the people around would owe him all he wanted anyway."

"Nervous, the advisor tried explaining how important the king was to his land and people, and the man should give away the bean because of that. But the man said it couldn't be that important since the king had not come to ask for it himself. He only had one bean, after all."

"At this, the advisor grew frustrated. He accused the man of being unreasonable. He said it was the man's own fault he had only one, because he had given it to a dog of some common girl. He said the man should've thought of the king first, or at least someone else high and mighty. After all, the dog only had few years to live anyway and only brought happiness to one girl, where as the king could continue to rule for decades and bring happiness to many."

"At the sound of this, the man threw the advisor off a cliff. Then he said to the guards: "I am god of this world. Long have I helped you mortals of the goodness of my heart, but if you dare to bargain or question my favor, I will hold you all in debt. My gifts are mine to give, what I want is mine to take, my reasons my own to make. Leave or I will slay you and all your kin!" Scared by his might, the knights fled."

"And then the man climbed up the mountain and was never seen again. The end."

At this point, Ieez can see the man from before has returned with a young girl in tow. The girl is visibly nervous, her hands are covered in dirt, and she looks to be holding something.

The village elder gives them a puzzled look. The man walks to her and whispers something to her ear. "I see", she replies, her eyes widening. Then she turns back to Ieez. *ahem* We found the beans. Is one enough for you?"

Iris sighs.

"My people are dead and I might as well be. All I am is the last gasp before the abyss. Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but nothing is going to bring back my people and remembrance is cold comfort when your home is the mass grave for millions of men, women and children.

The only lasting peace I'll ever get is the peace of the grave. And when my time comes, I will welcome it with open arms. But until then, I'll do what I always have. What I am meant to do. Fight and suffer so others don't have to. When I die, it will not be a peaceful end. I accepted that the moment I became a warrior."

Iris seems to decide that she's done talking about this, at least for now, and tries to change the subject. Her eyes linger on Aspa's scar.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did you come to have that scar?"

She looked up at Iris, before answering her question about her scar.
"Just so you know, your people can be brought back, Callins dragon balls can make any wish come true. even your clan being brought back to life. "

She then looks down at her scar. she clearly was depressed about it, but she nodded and looked like she would tell the story.

"It happened a few years after I met Callins about 6 years before he left, we were 17 or 16 then. My father did not like that I was friends with a Tuffle, he wanted to see them destroyed and we would rule the planet instead. Many times he would hit me, but this time it was worst, it was after i had Kissed Callins for the first time. One of my tribesmen saw us and told my father. He stabbed my and sliced me open for daring to have any feelings other then hatred for Tuffles, especially Callins. I escaped and my wounds did heal. I left to never see my father again, I lived with Callins ever since. Well a few months after I was bleeding below more the normal. The doctors told me my reproductive organs had become infected from that stabbing. They would have to be removed if i ever hoped to live. Callins urged me to live, he did not want to see me suffer, So I had the surgery."

Aspa traced the lines of where the stabbing and cutting was from her father, and then the lines that merges with the others scars from the surgery.

"I won't be able to have kids, but I am alive and I still have the one man I trust with my life." Aspa smiles again, as she looks at the good in life versus bad. She then once her armor was fully cleaned and dry donned it again to hide her scars.

"Well should we get back to the others?"

Callins

Callins focuses his hand over Oxy, they glow with his normal silver light of ki, but change soon as something beyond ki happens. Callins struggles but and breathes harder, but soon he picks up the faint strands of Oxy's health. He knits the meat back together as it grews back out to allow Oxy to heal. Really all Callins did was making Oxy healing happen at an excelled rate while providing his own will and energy for the effect. Before long Oxy was back to normal.

"There we go. That was, different, I never knew your healing was magic. Lets get you home so I can make sure everything is 100% ok?"

...Someone you know or care about is sick or hurt and needs the bean as well, yes?

Oxy flies off.

[Village]

Oxy flies to Ieez and the elder, paying no mind to anyone.

Change of plans. Aparently Callins can copy techniques, and figured out my healing technique. Don't need the bean after all.

"N-n-no, t-that's not it", the girl says, gazing to the ground. She's apparently a bit afraid of Ieez. "I - I didn't even know what these were before now. Lord Kami just dropped by yesterday and gave two of these to me. He told me to plant them and look after them like they are my own children. I just thought, I wouldn't want to give them both, you know. In case he ever comes back and asks for them..."

At this point, Oxy barges in. The villagers are surprised and mildly shocked by presence of a giant humanoid bug, Ieez was weird enough on his own.

"Well", the elder says, "That's good to hear. I suppose you can still take one bean for future needs. But I also want you to have this." The elder hands Ieez the book she was reading. It's probably nonsensical doodles to him, but the cover reads in the local language: "Book of God: tales of the Old Man on the Mountain".

"This is a collection of stories our people have on Kami. It has many more than the one I told you. I believe it will be handy in case you meet him again."

If Oxy and Ieez want the bean, the girl will also hand them the bean. It is covered in dirt - apparently she already planted it once and dug it back up for Ieez. In case they want to plant it again, they might want to have Callin check it's not damaged.

Meanwhile At Lagerin's Mansion...
In the basement warded from ki-detection, Lagerin cannot believe what he is hearing:
One was speaking
"You see, slaughtering is a great form of art you seeing? blood everywhere, paint everything on the scene with it."
Two: "No, your diluting the special moment of each kill you tasteless brok. You take it one kill at a time. You be all stealthy-like and go for one clean simple kill, one at a time. Make the moment worth it y'know?"
One: "Thats boring! Come on, a slaughter man! A Slaughter! Art is an explosion, and you got to make a big wild piece of work when the inspiration strikes y'know? Just find a bunch of people and go craaaaaaazy, in a bug Ruuuuuush!"
Two: "No you brok. You do things right and proper. You kill one at a time, nice and clean. Demons these days, always thinking about the rush and the massacres and big time stuff and never about getting the details correct y'know? doing it RIGHT, instead of just wild and sloppy work for the sake of it. We need to get back to basics. A good clean simple kill, a basking in the moment of the death, thats how it should be."
Eight just shook his head and muttered "Kill. Maim. Burn." Foolish demons thinking that the method mattered. What mattered is that you got free, to do it at all. He did not care if they lived or died, if they indulged themselves, it was none of his business. He just chanted his mantra, and waited for when he got to killing. There was no point in anything else.

Another conversation:
Four: "We must have faith in Makaioshin. That through our desires, he desires us to accomplish them. To kill what we want to kill, to inflict suffering on who want to-"
Five: "But does he? Does he really? Does Makaioshin even care? Philosophically speaking, why does one god have to represent all pain, evil and suffering forever? Should we not worship Demigra as well? Why only worship Dabura?"
Four: "Speak not such heresy you fool!"
Five: "Ah but, philosophically speaking is not everything a heresy against something else? Are we not ourselves heresies against the natural order of the universe? Against the lie of good itself? Therefore how can you accuse me of heresy when my existence is heresy against all things? I am heresy, and therefore I am a heretic, and so are you because you are heresy."
Four: "I will not listen to your heretical nonsense, amateur philosopher. I have faith in Makaioshin. That is enough to know that I am immune to your blasphemies."
Five: "Ah but being demons aren't we all blasphemies against something? and I have a Ph.D in Philosophy, thank you very much. Which makes me wonder: don't we all have a Ph.D in being ourselves? Do I not have a Ph.D in killing things while spouting philosophy? But then again, are Ph.D's really real, or are they just illusions granted to us to make us feel better for doing limited actions that are of no use outside a narrow range of activity?"
Four: "By Makaioshin. You overthink everything! Just accept Makaioshin as your lord and doomer already!"

Lagerin facepalms. He can already tell he was going to have to put up with this chattering minion nonsense all day.

Aspa traced the lines of where the stabbing and cutting was from her father, and then the lines that merges with the others scars from the surgery.

"I won't be able to have kids, but I am alive and I still have the one man I trust with my life." Aspa smiles again, as she looks at the good in life versus bad. She then once her armor was fully cleaned and dry donned it again to hide her scars.

"Well should we get back to the others?"

"I'd rather not get my hopes up for my people's resurrection, just in case. Things can go wrong, and I'd rather not have to endure having my hopes crushed a second time. I've already lived with this for...how long has it been? Two years, I think? At least. Time gets funny as a slave."

Iris stands up.

"Feel free to head back to them, I'm sure Callins misses you already. I'm going to go ahead and see how 22 and 23 are faring back at the ship"

With that, Iris takes off and flies on back to Callins' ship.

Kame House Callins' Ship

Iris touches down outside the Ship and calls out to make sure the androids were there, seeing as though she couldn't sense their energy.

"23? 22? Anyone home?"

"I will follow you, Callins would be heading there anyways." Aspa followed Iris and opened the door for her. When Aspa entered the spacey looking home, she headed for the androids.

"How is our patient doing?" Aspa smiled genuinely happy at 22 then 23.

Callins

The Tuffle Doctor followed Oxy, though on the way he sends a telepathic message to Pokasu.
"We will be heading back to my home soon for a small breather as I help repair 23."

When he stands next to Oxy he nods to Ieez and Artic.

"When you both are ready we will go to my home, I'd rather get their quickly so I can check on 23. She was in bad shape."

[Lord Raziere]

"She is obediently resting up and keeping still."
22 said while casting an aside look at 23.
"Pain is starting to fade, but the sparks just keep happening."
Certain places, sure just kept spitting little sparks out.
"I'm sensible enough to stay put when something is clearly wrong. I just hope that I'm not out of commission for too long. I hate being useless. Maybe I shouldn't have used the Kaio-Ken at all. I didn't even get a hit in while using it and something has clearly gone wrong from using it. As a technique its stupid. What kind of person teaches someone a technique that only gives you a short burst of power then gives you injuries all over your body from your muscles tearing themselves apart weeks afterwards?"
22 shrugs.
"I dunno, but promise you'll never use that technique again? You can't take it like Oxy."
"I promise. Mostly, I can just seem myself getting bored in here. Which reminds me: we need to plan entertainment and food storage for when we fly to Plant. I doubt the trip will be eventful, and I'm guessing that there is only so much time you can stare at the awesome spectacles of space before they become just another thing you pass by."

"Give me one second I may have ideas for that."


Aspa leaves the room, as you hear her run the hall and a door opens then closes. A small ball of light suddenly floats in from of 22 and 23. It seems to scan you both and then Aspa returns to the room a minute later.

"When you are able to move you now have access to some of Callins computer systems. that goes for you too 22." Aspa grins at the horrible joke. She while she was away also seemed to change out of her armor into a comfortable blue tunic with black skin tight pants. Her monky tail lifting the back of the shirt slightly as it sways back and forth.

"To be exact, you are allowed into all of Tuffle entertainment. Callins had quite a large storage of it. He rarely touched the games while he was training. Though as Teenagers I bet you will enjoy them quite a lot. Here is how you will access the computer."

Aspa shows you the hand motions you need to access the Hologram display. Her own shows up as she stands there. You can see slightly what she has on screen as you have seen before with Callins.

"Easy as that."

23 smiled.
"Heh. Guess you saw right through us with that. But seriously: I don't want to contemplate would happen if a bunch of super-powered martial artists found themselves bored during a flight through outer space in a cramped ship with no room for sparring or training and nothing to take their minds off the tedium."
"Yeah, and it'll be something familiar in all of this, at least. What with this strange time, meeting all these weird new people, chaotic battles and such...we really are quite an unusual, if not unique situation, aren't we?"
"I know. Oddly enough, its this ship that reminds me most of home. An alien ship from society more advanced than ours, whose society we know nothing about, more familiar than the cities out there."
"Yeah, I can see us going through them like we're tourists or something just to see how things were like "back then" but....this isn't "our" Earth y'know? When we gone to North City....it was far dirtier, the buildings were smaller, the people treating us like nobles because we dressed differently and spoke with signs of education and knew things they didn't....I don't think we can live in such a society."
"Yeah. I think we'd have to wait a couple centuries if we want to see the Earth we're familiar with again. Or an Earth resembling it. But...it'll probably be some time before we ever have to think about a home 22, there is an Empire to fight, an alien species conflict to solve...things like that..."

"Well I hope that till you do find a home, you don't mind being here. It is strange it almost feels like we are all becoming one big strange family. Anyways, I will go check on Iris. Also when you are better You will want to check out more then just the third floor of this place. It is bigger then you think. "

Aspa turned to leave and headed for the living room/main room. She passed through, as she went to the area that was like a kitchen.

"Iris are you hungry?"

Artic decided to follow Ieez's energy signature. After a rather lengthy flight, he finally arrives.

Hey! You're alive! He then looks around, and sees what can only be described as desolation.

Iris chuckles to herself.

"Aspa, I'm always hungry. But yeah, after a fight like that, I could go for a meal."

Iris steps into the kitchen and starts looking around.

"What've you got in terms of food anyway?"

"N-n-no, t-that's not it", the girl says, gazing to the ground. She's apparently a bit afraid of Ieez. "I - I didn't even know what these were before now. Lord Kami just dropped by yesterday and gave two of these to me. He told me to plant them and look after them like they are my own children. I just thought, I wouldn't want to give them both, you know. In case he ever comes back and asks for them..."

At this point, Oxy barges in. The villagers are surprised and mildly shocked by presence of a giant humanoid bug, Ieez was weird enough on his own.

"Well", the elder says, "That's good to hear. I suppose you can still take one bean for future needs. But I also want you to have this." The elder hands Ieez the book she was reading. It's probably nonsensical doodles to him, but the cover reads in the local language: "Book of God: tales of the Old Man on the Mountain".

"This is a collection of stories our people have on Kami. It has many more than the one I told you. I believe it will be handy in case you meet him again."

If Oxy and Ieez want the bean, the girl will also hand them the bean. It is covered in dirt - apparently she already planted it once and dug it back up for Ieez. In case they want to plant it again, they might want to have Callin check it's not damaged.

At first Ieez was going to refuse the bean.

but then Oxy.

23 did mention it'd be a shame to not take back a senzu to plant. I'm sure callins could figure out something to do with it, and in a year or two we could have a decent stock of senzu for when we head out to deal with hailing.

So Ieez takes the bean, thanks the villages, and leaves.

Artic decided to follow Ieez's energy signature. After a rather lengthy flight, he finally arrives.

Aparently, after we refused to work for Kami with no compensation, he enslaved a village.

Upon finding out, there was a fight. Several members of the rebel alliance were injured, and 22 used this masive enrgy ball to defeat kami, and after that ti's really confusing.

Kami's not dead though, so we need to leave soon.

Slushya, who followed Artic, is relieved that he won't be meeting his son on the other side.

[Callins' Ship]

Pokasuu has arrived. she deposits the dragonball, then sits in thought.

"We have a number of stuff mainly vegetables since that is what Callins can grow. Though if we want meat we will have to go hunt it." by this point Pokasuu comes in.

"Hello Majin, I don't think I ever caught your name?"

Callins

"I will see you all at my ship." Callins says as he flies off toward the home for all. When he arrives Aspa smiled and greeted him. though she quickly pointed him to the androids. As Callins turns the corner he sees 22.

"Well i am glad you kept her rested 22 thanks. Now." Callins cracks his knuckles.

"Lets get to work. Feel free to talk as I work."
Callins activated the Auto Doc, that was what 23 rested on. The mechanical arms worked in sync with Callins. They repaired all of 23's Organic tissue, while Callins pulled out a few different hardlight tools. He first worked on the sparking around 23's shoulder. He resuddered her wires and oiled her motors as the skin restitched together.
Callins worked down 23's body, right now he was on her abdomen, working on her improved digestive track.

"You and 22 are quiet the amazing work. I don't think i need to say that you should never do Kaioken again right?"

"No. You don't. Because its a horrible technique that I think only Oxyribo can use with any kind of safety. The only other person I know of who ever used it, got hospitalized from going times four and basically overstraining his muscles till it ripped them apart. And even that guy never used it again after he went Super-Saiyan."
"and not using it goes double for everyone else. Its just not worth it."
"and Aspa commented how we're becoming a kind of family or something. if thats true, Callins your probably the kindly uncle, Oxyribo is the bratty prodigy child who writes symphonies, Ieez and Artic are those brothers that get along with each but not with their emotional niece-"
She looks at Iris.
"Aspa is that aunt who everyone doesn't want to get on the bad side of, Shanakan is that one quiet family member no one really understands, Pokasuu is that little sister who....is annoying to me personally but cute to everyone else..."
"What about us?"
"oh I'm the big sister who tires to be responsible. Your my girlfriend. no one is really the mother or the father, we're weird like that."
"As for the home thing, we can probably find a home or ship on Planet Plant someday right? Methinks that would be nice....a ship, flying across the universe....seeing strange stuff..."
"Yeah....speaking of symphonies, maybe we should encourage Oxy to pick that up as a hobby? Could you imagine Oxyribo composing that sort of thing and then conducting them?"
22 imagines Oxyribo going up on stage dressed in a tuxedo and waving a conductors baton around in a dignified fashion. and giggles.
"Actually I can! It'd be hilarious. and his attitude would really fit the part! "Oh look at me, have you ever seen a more perfect symphony conductor in the universe? I am also a god-king and a great fighter. Gaze upon the most perfect god-king/fighter/healer/symphony conductor ever...""

"Which if I was the dad, then that would make Aspa the Mother. which makes sense to me, you never wanted to piss off my mother."

"Eh. Guess that makes sense. She IS more powerful than us and seems to care about people as she seems to trust us more, and everyone who has ever ticked off a saiyan paid for it eventually. Well, aside from that one fat guy with a sword, he never died for pulling the stunt he did, considering whose tail he cut off."
"But really, we wouldn't know about having either of those family or parents....orphanages are lonely places even with fellow kids..."
"Yeah...."

Lagerin's Mansion

Three: "Both of you don't know the delight of torture. The screaming, the drawing out of the suffering....killing art is just too droll, too mainstream...."
One: "Oh shut it! torture is no place in battle, in SLAUGHTERING! Too slow, not enough rush!"
Two: "Oy, you brok. I agree with him for once, no nonsense about torture, just a clean kill, one at a time, you do it right, you do it proper...."
Three: "Oh, but you forget the psychological warfare applications..."

Six: "Oy your grot, I'm Brak and yer Grak."

Eight said while shaking his head at these two stupidity. If they didn't know, they might as well stew in ignorance for all he cared.
Four: "Its because he believes in Makaioshin, and therefore took the Vow of Chanting Rage in his training, and thus constantly only chants those three words for the rest of his days as devotion to him and to killing, maiming and burning to become the best fighter he can be, such is his faith."
Seven: "Oy, sounds mighty stupid to me. Can't say anything to anybody."
Six: "Ye mean "can't say nothing to nobody" speak proper-like, Brak."
Seven: "You idjit Grak, that be a double negative, the ain't good speakerin'!
they continue to argue with each other over this stupidity.

Lagerin just frowns. and decides to just plan out his next moves while they converse. they were nothing but weapons to him after all.

Callins right when he finishes 23's legs he smiles at the two Androids.

" Well you have a family in me and Aspa now. Just like how you are family to each other." Callins de activates the auto doc and makes the hardlight tools disappear.
"Well unless you and the others are not staying here through out the year, would you like an official tour of your home?"
