There is a tissue box on the dresser.
"I don't want you to stay here exactly, you have a life too. But I can't expect you to go out like this. We have to call someone though before we're both bees.
And yes, my girlfriend was frustratingly insistent on using slightly unstable rituals for getting rid of the last curse that came up." he explains.

[Isaac's Home]

Yisui shakes her head.
"Look, I said I'd help you with this, and I will."
"Oh, yeah. Slightly unstable rituals are the last thing we need."

She gets out of the blanket, hopefully Isaac looks away, and flies over to the dresser with her bag to improvise some clothing.

Isaac nods his thanks and tries to dial Tab's number.
"please pick up please pick up please pick up..."

"Hello?" A voice replies over the phone, sounding sleepy.

[Deathkeeper]

Isaac's Home

"Tab! It's Isaac. I know it's Saturday morning but I need your help. I and someone I met yesterday got hit with some curse and we're only a few inches tall. We need you to find some clothes that will fit and come to my window so we can get out without my parents realizing that things went wrong again." he explains into the speaker-phone.

"I...okay. About how tall are the two of you? Three inches? Six? Also, where's your house? I've never been there. I assumed that you stayed at the school..."

There's sounds of doing things over the phone, and while Tab doesn't sound thrilled about this she doesn't seem too upset.

Isaac's Home

"It's 7 Salmon Street, east part of the city. There's a small basement window on the side. I go on weekends, you haven't noticed? I'd put us at...four inches? Hey Yisui, how tall are we?" he calls.

[Isaac's Home]

"Seventy-eight millimeters! So about three inches, yeah."

Just about then Yisui flies back over, dressed in a modesty preserving tangle of paper and thread. She also has a large crude poncho which is placed over Isaac's head.

"Okay, got it. Where did I put that?" A few thumping noises. "I'll be there soon. Which window is yours?"

"It's the only little basement window. You won't fit inside, but we can go up and get something. Thanks, Tab." he says, looking at the weird little poncho. Is there room for his wings with this thing?

In any case, the pair will have a bit of time before Tabitha gets there.

Yisui helps with getting the poncho on harmlessly over Isaac's wings.

"So how much trouble are your parents, that you're hiding this from?"

Isaac's Home

"Not much, really. I just don't want them to think letting me go to mage school is a bad idea." he says.

"Can you explain how flying works, please?" he asks.

[Isaac's Home]

Yisui chuckles. "Well, they'd be right to think that, wouldn't they?"

"Uhm, you flap them? This generates lift, propelling you into the air. So first, you raise your wings."
She demonstrates slowly at each of the steps.
"Snap it forward, then twist them down like this, cut back through the air, twist up, move forward, pull, rotate them, and you're back in the starting position and you repeat."
"The trick is to do it really really fast.

She flaps her wings faster and faster and then jumps up and is in the air and flying little circles around.

"It's just like swimming."

Isaac bashfully follows the instructions until he's hovering in midair, though not showing any maneuverability just yet.
"This doesn't seem much like swimming at all..."

[Isaac's Home]

"Sure. Just like doing the butterfly stroke really really fast."

She zips up a little ahead of Isaac.

"Now, to move around, you have to slow the downbeat. So the second stroke catches the vortex of air made by the first, and then you move!"

Off she goes. Wheeeee!

It'll take a while, but Isaac will be hesitantly moving around the place at a slow rate.
"We'll probably have to cut the clothes Tab brings. I forgot to tell her about the wings." he realizes.

Yisui realizes something to wonder about.
"Why does she even have clothes in the right size? A few cuts to them won't be too bad, though."

Isaac shrugs.
"She said she'd be here, not that she wouldn't make a stop first." he says simply.

It'll take a while, but there's a knock on the window. Tabitha is out there, holding a box under one arm. She seems nervous.

If this is the wrong house it will be really awkward to explain.

Isaac is quickly there, still unsure of his wings, but far more ready to get Tabitha's help, even if his extra arms and wings are going to require some changes to whatever she brought.
Unless she has a clothes-ray.

Tabitha, seeing Issac, will try to get the window open. "What happened?"

The window is already open!
"I don't know! She had a curse and it must have spread to me somehow. Did you bring anything useful?" he asks desperately, four arms crossed.

She turns the box toward Issac, and opens it up. It's full of tiny clothes. Tiny clothes for people about three inches tall. These aren't just generic doll clothes, either, they're beautiful, masterfully hand-crafted, and quite fancy clothes. They're for a variety of sizes and builds, there's likely something in here that will fit.

Except for the wings.

...except for a few backless dresses for ladies. Issac is going to have to be creative, though.

"Do I ever bring anything useful?" She asks, a sarcastic smile on her face.

Isaac will just grab some pants. It's hot, no one cares if he's shirtless.
"Take your pick, Yisui." he grumbles.

[Isaac's Home]

"He tried casting some fairy magic at a mirror and he grew arms and wings and I got a stinger."

It's totally not Yisui's fault, is what she's saying.

She sounds all cross, but then she sees the fancy tiny clothes and marvels for a bit.
"Wow. Where did you get these?"

And a backless dress will do. Not her style, but it beats paper wraps by a long way.
"Apparently all the time."

"It's my sister's hobby. She loves making tiny clothes. Really, it's kind of weird, as far back as I can remember she's been making tiny clothes. When I left to go to Zaff's, she gave me some boxes to remember her by. Don't ask me why, she's weird that way," Tabitha says with a shrug. "That said, she's been able to turn that hobby into a career, so... can't really say it isn't worth it."

Isaac can't help but snicker as Yisui puts on the dress. The new additions to her body make the fit definitely a bit strange.
"Before you ask, the dress doesn't make your butt look big. It does that all on its own." he teases, laughing a bit.

You have to find levity in things when you're being afflicted by a stubborn and terrible curse. Otherwise you might get freaked out.

"But uh, yeah, I thought we should go to the school and try to get this fixed. Are the body-mage staff in today?" he asks.

They probably are, but the anti-curse doctor almost certainly isn't, since Zaff's never has the right people on hand for any given emergency.

Yisui nods.

"That is really weird. But I guess it works for her. And clearly for us; this is great."

Her eyes narrow at the joke; she certainly isn't laughing, but that's all she does...for now. She'll just follow along.

"I think so. The question I'm worrying about is... what is this curse, and am I at risk of catching it?" There's two people here with it, and last she knew Isaac was curse-free. If it's contagious, she wants to take the proper precautions.
