the magic kingdom
so this island is the magic kingdom
is has 8 parts, probably one for each mayor magic class, plus the portal park in the middle.
apparently there are people doing research there, inventing new spell that can be bought. and there are teachers teaching casters new abilities.
do you think the magic kingdom has some influence on the politics and wars of erfworld? it seems to be a neutral place.
is there a leader of the kingdom? who do the units living there, like the hippiemancer teacher for example "belong" to? who manufactured them?

Re: the magic kingdom
It's probably the neutral place where everyone does their magic shopping. It's a play how in some strategy games, there's this entity that everyone buys stuff from that doesn't have an actual military presence in the game, I think.

Re: the magic kingdom
Well, Gobwin Knob has no allies, but they do have a direct portal from the capitol to the Magic Kingdom, and it's one of a large array of portals. They also have Hippiemancers, so I think we are indeed safe in assuming they're at least non-interventionist.
But that doesn't mean they treat everyone equally... maybe relations affect pricing.-2 Cursed Keyboard of Typos.

Re: the magic kingdom
Honor among mages.
If someone were to conquer the magic kingdom, all sorts of badness would ensue. Thus, all the mages tolerate eachother in the magic kingdom.
Still, the place looks pretty small, and without much apparent organization. Just a comfy (or maybe not so comfy, for naughtymancers) glade for each class of magic.Belkar's Bad to the Bone.

Re: the magic kingdom
Not organized? Dude, it's divided into a pie chart and colour-coded for your convenience. If anything they have an OCDmancer working landscaping.

Re: the magic kingdom
I was thinking more along the lines of civil organization and utilities, not to mention organizations, the noun. I.e. roads, thoroughfares, aqueducts, building skylines, centralization, etc. Of course, you could say that those are more indicative of someone attempting to order disorganization.

More importantly, are there talking mice there? And roller coasters? They could charge admission!
