    Cautiously, Chirk indicates the first door accessible behind the counter, the one to the left. After his allies have stepped in, he thinks it might be best if they bar the door behind them or something, to avoid trouble entering.

    Tymir finds himself in a large workroom with a furnace burning along the southeast wall. Marble tables sit in the chamber, used to work raw glass into usable shapes. Nearby, wooden tables are cluttered with various tools of the trade. Here in the heart of the factory, the building's furnace rumbles loudly (penalizing Perception checks with a -4 penalty). The main furnace burns at the northeast end, a large chamber that utilizes alchemically treated wood that burns with a hot blue light.

    As the furnace's stone pipes run southwest, they reach smaller and progressively cooler furnaces used to keep glassworking projects at the proper temperature. For glass shatters if it's allowed to cool too quickly.

    The room contains eight goblins, but none of them spot Tymir as they move about the area. At the moment, the room is a gruesome display of goblin boredom. The bodies of eight murdered staff lie in various stages of dismemberment; the goblins have been burning legs and arms in the furnace with glee, and pouring melted glass on the remains. One already-finished product is propped up in a chair in the central alcove and encased in thick, runny sheets of hardened glass.

    It's Lonjiku Kaijutsu, just barely recognizable after having so much of his skin melted off in the encasement, and quite dead.

    The blue squares contain broken glass, which act like caltrops if stepped on.

    Special rules: A creature bull rushed or otherwise placed in the furnace takes 6d6 points of fire damage per round. The opening is narrow enough to prevent a Medium creature from being pushed inside easily (bull rush attempts to do so take a -8 penalty).

    Tymir returns to his companions and explains the scene to them, with quite a bit of anger in his voice, "Let's throw them in the flames like they did to the staff, or we could just murder them. I doubt they'll care, they're just mindless beasts anyway."

    Seeing the opportunity for a flank, Tymir rolls across the table. (move) His acrobatics skill denies the goblin in front of him from landing an attack. He lands in an area broken glass, but dodges the worst parts by moving carefully. Then he attacks the goblin. (standard)

    He deals 5 damage + 2 sneak attack damage. The goblin collapses.

    The goblin that was in front of Tymir sees the broken glass, and rather than trying to cross it, he throws his tongs at Domenico. (standard)
    8 misses, and the glass lands harmlessly on the side of the furnace.
    Then he moves back a step, waving at Domenico with a "come get me" gesture. (5' step)

    The goblin at the back moves up behind Tymir (move) and attacks with his dogslicer. (standard)

    Tymir attempts to go back the way he came, but is unable to get a good hold the first two times. He finally crosses it and stands on the other side. (2x move)

    Annoyed at being Ignored, the goblin directly in front of Tymir moves forward and tries to trip him.

    By moving at half speed, the goblin avoids stepping on broken glass. But Tymir and Domenico get an attack of opportunity.

    Tymir deals 2 damage to the goblin.
    The goblin's trip fails with a 13.

    The goblin on the table charges Domenico, who has already used his attack of opportunity for the round. (full-round)

    The doors of the Rusty Dragon swung open as a large, dark-skinned man dressed in full scale armor stepped out. The man, who went by the name of Reddick, had arrived in town yesterday and stayed at the inn. The news of a group of heroes who fended off a horde of goblins was spreading quickly throughout the land and the Order of the Guard's Guild in Korvosa immediately sent out Reddick to make contact with these warriors.

    Indeed, as soon as the Cavalier reached Sandpoint, he had already heard multiple stories of these heroes, though each tale was somewhat different than the others. After Reddick spent the night in the Rusty Dragon he had talked to one of the maids (Bethany, was it?) who pointed him to the Sandpoint Glassworks in the southwest. As Reddick attached his hand-axes to his horse's saddlebag, he had to admit to himself that, if these tales of the heroes were halfway-true, then they might not even need the help of a Cavalier.

    With that, Reddick mounted his horse and made his way towards the Glassworks, eager to join his new partners (whether they liked it or not).

    To help Domenico, Chirk throws his net at the nearest goblin. (standard)
    15 hits! 18 (Chirk str) vs 17 (goblin str) means Chirk succeeds his strength check to hold the rope!
    The goblin is entangled and can only move within 15' of Chirk.

    Domenico steps back (5' step) and attacks the goblin on the table.

    He deals 14 damage, and the goblin drops.

    The goblin's dying cry makes the goblin by the window look up. Realizing how many of his comrades have fallen, his eyes gain sudden clarity, and he cries out in Goblin. Then he dashes for the northern door. (full-round)

    The others look like they might follow suit if given the chance.

    While Tymir runs around to head the goblin off, (full-round) the goblin in the net attempts to slip out (full-round), provoking an attack of opportunity from Domenico. But Domenico keeps his focus on the un-netted goblin.
    9 fails the escape attempt.

    The goblin beside Karin withdraws (full-round), following the first to the North door.

    Ylve takes the opportunity to cast Guidance on Chirk (standard) and Karin moves back beside her. (move)

    Chirk reloads, (standard) and moves towards north door, jumping over the glass as needed. (move)

    Domenico keeps his eyes on the two retreating goblins, should they attempt to return, but in the meantime decides to quiet the netted goblin with a nonlethal blow to the head. (standard)

    Tymir opens the door (move). Beyond, he sees an open room, but no goblin. He puts away his short swords, (move) in order to draw his bow.

    The last goblin runs out the door. (full-round)

    Ylve casts Guidance on Domenico, (standard) and Karin moves between her and the open door (move).

    Chirk can't see any goblins through the open door, but moves forward again, readying to shoot as soon as he sees a goblin. (ready)

    Domenico jumps down off the table and runs ahead of Chirk to the door. (full-round) When he gets there, he spies the two goblins inside.

    The other goblin opens a door and disappears into the next room.

    After 1 round of stealthing, Tymir has moved 25 feet (2x move), and found himself at a fork in a room with 4 exits besides the one he entered. He finds no goblins in the room, however he does perceive movement through the door to the northwest.

    Domenico sees the last goblin disappears through the same door as its brethren.

    Ylve and Karin follow Chirk. (2x move)

    Chirk approaches, keeping his gun ready. (move, ready)

    Domenico follows the goblin up to the open door. (move) Inside, he sees a stairwell leading down, though it's difficult to see what lies at the bottom.

    Having captured or driven away all the goblins, everyone gains 210 XP! (1310 total) Everyone levels up!

    Tymir approaches and opens the door (2x move). On the other side, he finds Domenico.

    Chirk, Ylve, and Karin enter the room as well. (2x move)

    "Wait a moment." Ylve requests. "That last battle took a toll on Karin. I'm grateful for your help, but I must return to the forest to gather some berries."

    Reddick got off his horse, strapped his hand-axes to his back and attempted to open the door in front of him. When they presumably didn't open (due to being barred) he returned to his horse, contemplating the situation. He was sure that this was the right place, but he'd seen no sign of any heroes. Or any people at all, for that matter. Perhaps this wasn't the correct door to enter though.

    The man got back on his horse and continued down the length of the building until reaching the southern entrance, where he dismounted and tried to open the door.

    The front door does in fact open, as Domenico closed but didn't lock it. Reddick finds himself in the same shop area the rest of the group passed through earlier.

    In that case, Reddick entered through the front doors and found himself in an empty room. The man was beginning to wonder whether or not these heroes were in the area at all before a woman and... her elk walk by. Call it a hunch, but Reddick was pretty sure he was getting closer to his destination.

    "Excuse me, miss," he asked the elk-lady. "But you wouldn't happen to know a group of goblin-slaying knights, would you? I am... In need of their services."
