Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Honestly, logically speaking it's a safer bet for us to assume the "votes go away from" target is a wolf unless we have some reason to assume otherwise.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Logically speaking, we assume if anyone doesn't inform town they're affected by the vortex, then they're a wolf. If both players announce it, then we just assume those two are immune to lynch for the day and proceed as normal.
Outside of that, we should just ignore who actually gets vortexed since there's no point second guessing if the wolves are vortexing a wolf and a villager, 2 villagers or even 2 wolves which is just as valid a play since there's no seer now.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I'm preeeeeetty sure I posted somewhere in this thread that I was dealing with a chronic sickness and it's kicking my ass most of the time.
Meta-wise, Ramsus knows all about how inconsistently I've been available, since I've missed a few phases in his game. ><

Lex, if there's anyone who wants to join in the game now, they can have my spot. No offense to the beautiful people also taking part, but I joined in thinking there'd be RP. As if I wasn't disinterested enough, certain life issues have sucked the happiness outta me.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Oh, yes. Sorry about that. Hope it passes soon.
For anyone wondering, the current votes are as follows:
The Phantom -- 3 --Murska, Ramsus, Fleeing Coward
Logic -- 3 --Pelican, Xihirli, Syldar
necrochicken -- 3 -- Maleceptor, Silent Interim, Logic
Silent Interim -- 2 -- Zar Peter, Necrochicken
Maleceptor -- 1 -- Thematthew
Sylday -- 1 -- bladescape
Which means I'll actually keep my vote where it is since nothing has happened to make me any less suspicious of Logic. If it comes down to a tie and I need to switch my vote to ensure a lynch, I'll switch to The Phantom.

Thephantom Let's see who breaks the tie. Also a necrochicken lynch is too easy in my eyes. I doubt we could get much information from it.

Me too, Phantom.
I'll do you a solid, then. For reasons I'm afraid I can't articulate well, my eye is on Murska.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I remember reading that Vortexing makes you lynch-proof but also cancels your vote. Is that right?
That said, I pointed at Logic yesterday just because there wasn't much of a better vote and I wanted suspicion on the Luizeu wagon. He hasn't gotten any less suspicious.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Vortexing is a one way thing. It basically makes one person immune to the lynch by piling votes onto the other.
Like I said previously though, we should just assume that both vortex targets are immune the day it happens. Other than that, we pretend it doesn't exist since that's the best way to make sure the wolves can't use it to play mind games with us.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
A tie vote leaves me within one vote of being lynched. At the time of my previous post, I made it two additional votes to lynch me. There are plenty of people that have already dropped votes on me and consider me suspicious from earlier day phases, so I didn't find it hard to believe that two more votes could come my way.
In addition, a the tie-kat rule merely voids the two targets, delaying their fate for a later day. So if you vote to tie things up close to the end of the day, you are, in effect, voting for no lynch at all, which is detrimental to town, as your two top suspects are off the table for the following day. Lynching is the only way to eliminate the wolves, so voting for a no lynch (in this case, a tie) does no one but the wolves any good, regardless of who is voided for the following day and night.
Because I am one of the two leading targets for lynch for today, and I know I am a villager, I know it is in town's best interest, in addition to my own, to vote for the other leading wagon. As it is in Phantom's best interest to vote for me, for similar reasons, whether or not he is town.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Oh wow, he started a day one wagon. So suspicious. Because being the first to pick someone random on day one is sooo weird. Honestly, I'm more inclined to look at those who came midway or late to the bandwagon the than early.
I'm inclined to agree that you're not a wolf- your buddies would probably have advised you against being so quiet-, but can you at least try to be constructive? I mean, seriously. It's not useful or fun for anyone if you decide to do that.
Yeah, I can see that, but it could just be newbieness. I'm still going to switch to Syldar because I'm really not seeing these other wagons.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
...I kinda really just want Logic dead. Just out of spite for voting me two days in a row.
But I'm sort of convinced that he's town now, but I don't really have any other ideas. I'm going to point at Cuthalion, because I remember there was some reason or another that people were suspicious of him yesterday.
Of course, in the last games I was tricked into switching wagons multiple times, and it was always to leave a wolf wagon. Just remember that before following suit.Spoiler: Check Out my Writing!

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
This sort of vendetta-like attitude is not helping town. You shouldn't be out to lynch anyone but wolves or those that are making it harder to find wolves (which is one reason votes are more often than not cast at villager-you.) If you have a legitimate suspicion, fine, cast votes my way. If enough of town agrees with you, then you'll see me dead. But it is generally a bad play to let hurt feelings guide your decision making process.
However, if I have in any way offended you, I apologize. It is never my intent to hurt or marginalize anyone.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I'm probably going to regret this but since Xihirli switched off Logic and I don't trust Xihirli, I'm going to switch onto Logic. There's also the fact that Murska, Logic and Ramsus are all on ThePhantom bandwagon and I refuse to believe that not a single one of them is a wolf.

I'd believe it if you're a wolf FC. Otherwise... yeah probably not so much. Then again..... who knows, someone who is brand new could be the alpha. *shrug*

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I claimed I was vortexed as soon as I signed onto GiTP and received the message.
Hey, town is supposed to be super-transparent to allow us every advantage, right?
Eh, I don't know how to do anything with my reads anyway. What do the experienced people think?

He-ManThe day was rough on the Heroes. They'd lost not only another Sorceress last night.... no, that was about all that really worried them. That is, until someone mentioned Vortexxing. The realization that Trap-Jaw might have used his strange powers on two of them made the group insecure about who to vote for.
and the Masters of the Universe
Day 3
That is, until one lonely voice spoke up. "...I kinda really just want Logic dead." and produced a letter showing that Logic had tried to contact him. ((I know this happened after all the votes for Logic, but it's my narration.))
Suddenly, eyes turned on the hero mostly remembered for his great strategic wins over stronger forces. But that... wasn't quite right, was it?
Logic's eyes begin to glow, a menacing laughter rattles from his face, which begins to melt away revealing a sickly skull attached to the fully formed body. "So, you have seen through my disguise. But that will not stop me from doing... this!!"
He points his goat-skull staff at a large grouping of heroes, a orangish-yellow blast erupting from it. Most of the heroes part like the sea, except one. Smuchmuch, the shapechanging hero who usually takes the forms of the other heroes, is struck directly in the chest, knocking him to his back.
Everyone circles around him, watching in horror, and forgetting about Skeletor. Smuchmuch begins to twitch, his mouth opening as if screaming, but no noise issues forth. His body begins to peal, leaving a bloody mess on the floor, as a new form can be seen growing before their eyes. At first, they think they recognize him, but then realize that it's not really the same Luizeu, but his twin. Luizeu II.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
My thoughts on potential wolves in case I don't survive the night:
Maleceptor has just shot up my list of potential wolves voting with Logic on necro and then Phantom.
bladescape is the type of player I believe Logic would pick and his votes ain't doing him any favours so he's probably my second choice.
Duck has been too quiet and if I had to guess, I'd say he's probably wolf too.
Slight wolf lean on Murska at the moment but he's too good a player that I'd give him every opportunity to prove himself and I wouldn't lynch him without stronger evidence. If it gets to the endgame and he's still alive though, lynch him.
Xihrili is the enigma for me. His sudden change in behaviour does indeed feel like someone is coaching him behind the scenes, I'm just not sure if that person is Logic or someone else.
Finally, just to fulfill Ramsus' perception of me, even though I wouldn't push for his lynch unless he survives to the endgame in this game: He's my dark horse candidate for potential wolf as noone would expect Logic to pick him for a second game in a row
