Night 13

It seemed like it was going to be a long night. None of the remaining three wished to retreat to their quarters, for fear of being attacked. Elenna II stepped forward, wishing to speak with Duck, and try to convince him that she was the one to trust.

Duck, or He-Man, as everyone knew by this point, stepped before the Phantom, holding his sword defensively. "I am listening, but it is ver...." He-Man's eyes go wide, and he opens his mouth to continue speaking. But instead of words, Elenna II finds blood coming forth from the ultimate heroe's mouth.

He-Man slowly turns, to face the enemy he now knows.

Duck999's found some claws in his back. He was He-Man (Baner).

With an evil grin, Beastman tries to gut He-Man, and end his life. But Elenna II steps between the two, and is brutally gutted by the last remaining villain. She falls back against He-Man, looking up at him in her final moments. "I... I guess I should... *cough cough* said something, huh?" And with those as her last words, she falls silent.

Elenna II was gutted. The spell broken, she is revealed as Ria Blast, daughter of Rio Blast.

Beast Man licks the blood off his nails, grinning at He-Man. "How's it feel, He-Man?How's it feel to fall, not to Skeletor, not to Evil-Lyn. No, you fell to Beast Man. Not laughing now, are you?" With an animalistic roar, Beast Man dives forward, slashing at He-Man's head. The greatest warrior of Eternia tries to dodge, but slips on Ria's blood, falling to the floor His grip on the sword of power loosens as he hits the ground, sliding away.

Laughing, Beast Man gives He-Man a parting kick, then goes to retrieve the sword. Picking it up, he feels the power coursing through every fiber of his being. Checking to make sure that his foe is still floored, Beast Man goes in search of more important victims, King Randor and Queen Marlena.

As He-Man hears the screams of his parents being murdered, he reverts to Prince Adam, and runs. He runs for his life, telling himself that he will return one day, to avenge his family.

ThePhantom has won. He was Beast Man (Beast).

And we were so close... *sigh* Except not really because Phantom had two people he could easily get mislynched instead of himself and nobody really suspected him much.
Oh well. Good game, everyone. And congrats to Phantom for successfully bussing your way into the win.

Took you long, enough, Phantom. Most of us were wondering what the hell you were doing in the dead talk thread. You had that game on a silver platter for several days.

Anyway, well done to the town, Phantom did set himself up pretty well there. It took a certain amount of chutzpah to bus EVERY other wolf, I think. And we got incredibly lucky with our first two kills, which helps.

Honestly, that should not have worked. I should have been lynched ages ago, because with nearly every role-play I was saying things that could only be from Beast-man's point of view, but because no one other than me watched the show, I guess it got through. As for the bussing, well, I was partly trying to give the villager side a better shot at winning, I had no idea it would turn out like this.

Really folks, I'm ashamed about this. Winning by trying to let the other side win just feels a bit wrong.
