A 250% range Nova's Wormhole is also similarly silly, and I've even seen a good Nova managing to get an escort drone to go through one - alas chaining wormholes and leading NPCs through them requires more co-ordination than I'm capable of.

Good catch on Volt. I had a niggling idea that I was forgetting one, but couldn't be bothered to go and check.

Unrelated topic: Flying around as Titania isn't quite as fast as doing do in an Archwing, but it's considerably more efficient than Nova-doors and significantly less effort than bullet-jumping all over the place. I'm really glad that PoE has brought new life to some frames whose abilities were nice in planning, but struggled to shine in the usual maps' corridors and tunnels.

Also; Kills in Titania's Pixie-Mode count for the From Above achievement (Kill 100 ground-based enemies while airborne in an Archwing). I feel that this is probably a bug, but since I haven't been able to complete the last 4 missions that I tried due to Host Disconnections then I don't really feel all that bad about exploiting it.

Well it turns out not buying Warframes was a good idea. Rhino is finished. Mag is being built, Volt and Trinity are to start soon. I think the next thing to do is just keep playing. Keep building frames and weapons. Try to actually assemble a prime item. Sell some spare prime parts to start Sands of Inaros. Farm Hydroid, Seer and Miter. Make sacrifices to RNGsus for Vauban alerts and Oberon systems. Keep running Nightmare missions. I think I have now properly joined the Warframe grind.

I highly recommend joining at least a couple of the Syndicates, then. As you collect new Warframes and weapons, selling Syndicates Mods and Weaponry can be an efficient way of making small amount of Platinum, to buy Warframe Slots with. Unless you don't mind selling your older ones, of course, but to me that feels like a bit of a waste.

    About syndicates:

Notice that they each make you friendlier with one other syndicate, and enemies with 2 others. The natural assumption is that this means "pick 2 who like each other".

    This is a trap.

Pick the left or right half of the list (i.e. New Loka, Perrin Sequence, red veil). You can have three.

I have been told that, by very carefully picking the correct order in which to do the Syndicate Missions and by trading in the datamasses/sigils/etc in a controlled order, it's possible to maintain 4 Syndicates at the same time.

I have absolutely no wish to work that hard, however I'm sure it's a feasible challenge to someone so minded.

Why is getting a kavat so grindy?

I've scanned about a dozen this morning, and only gotten a single genetic code. According to the wiki its like a 15% chance. Eesh that's annoying. Vauban definitely makes it easier to get the scans, but it's still going to take a long time at this rate.

Yep! I'm doing so now (Hexis/Suda/Perrin/Loka). It's not actually complicated. You just rank up syndicates that are 1/2 enemies ("Opposed" is the term I think) in equal amounts. X days of Hexis, X days of Perrin, repeat, and Suda and Loka slowly increase.

If you really finagle the medallions, you can rank up 5 syndicates at a time.

I have max rank Meridian/Red Veil/Suda/Hexis, so 4 is definitely doable (I run missions for Meridian and Suda, so Veil is a net neutral and Hexis goes up). I've seen someone do all 6 up to max rank, but it's very difficult to cash in afterwards:

Spoiler: Way too much warframe, even for me

Incidentally, if anybody is interested in syndicate weapon trades from Loka/Perrin for Meridian/Veil/Suda weapons, let me know.

It's far too much effort, for my liking. I ranked up Meridian/Arbiters/Suda, bought everything I wanted, then went and ranked up the other three and did the same. All 6 are now unlocked at max rank, so if I want to buy something I can just pick a logo and grind for it the simple way.

Sometimes it means starting from scratch, but so long as I remembered to have removed my sigils when I'm not grinding it's quick enough.... plus I don't very often get Death Squads sent after me at random, which has a tendency to happen and spoil my day when I'm ranking up some crappy weapon that I don't really want to be using, or a weakling rank 9 Warframe, or something.

I maintain Steel Merdian, Red Veil, Arbiters and Suda. Its not easy but it mostly works through keeping Veil up with Steel Meridian so as to not piss of the other two and working on Suda as that tops up Arbiters and pisses Veil off less than an Arbiters mission would

Doing 4 is easy. I started with New Loka, which also got me Perrin while tanking Steel Meridian and Suda, then did Red Veil to get that and Steel Meridian up while hitting Suda (again) and Arbiters. I just put a NL sigil on half my frames and a RV on the others and don't worry about it.

At some point I guess I should trade for the Suda and Arbiter weapons.

I'm planning on trying to do four. Rotating between supporting Steel Meridian and Cephalon Suda which will contribute to both Red Veil and Person Sequence.

Also I got the 75% off next purchase of platinum so I'll buy some more soon and spend it on a bunch of frame slots, maybe all the sentinels, and save some.

Edit: Or maybe color palletes! Also, I finished crafting Mag. I will definitely be relying on her powers, especially because due to my own weird internal logic* I've equipped her with weapons I don't like.

*I like to associate different weapons with different frames but I haven't been buying to many new weapons, so she is getting the low leveled weapons I don't like. With luck they will feel better the second or third time around. Or fourth time in the case of the Gorgon.

If you're like most (if not all) of us, you'll eventually settle on a handful of weapons that you actually like and use pretty much any time you're not leveling new equipment for mastery. We all have different preferences (and Rivens) that make our selections unique; for example, in primary weapons I mostly use the Sancti Tigris but I swap to my Vulkar Wraith when I want long range and/or stealth, and if I'm unlocking a rifle Riven I'll pop it into a Soma Prime; my secondary of choice is Twin Grakatas though I'll occasionally toy with something like Sancti Castanas for the lulz; and my usual melee weapon is a Hirudo (especially when I'm leveling a new/freshly formaed frame) but sometimes I'll run with Redeemer or one of my (single) daggers (usually the Rakta Dark Dagger) simply because Covert Lethality is hilarious (especially with Ash if you can get your hands on a Fatal Teleport augment).

I think you mean Arbiters of Hexis instead of Perin Sequence as Steel Meridian and Cephalon Suda hate and is neutral respectively towards Perrin for a net -100% gain.

If you're not already aware, there are two colour palette bundles on the market (Colour Pack Alpha and Colour Pack Beta) that are cheaper than buying the individual palettes for 75 plat each.

According to my profile, my most used weapons are the Vaykor Hek, Vaykor Marelok and the Broken War, although I haven't touched the Broken War since I got Berserker/Primed Fury which made the Galatine Prime/Jag Kittag fast enough for my typical use (rush in and melee instead of reloading and they're close enough) and since I'm a big Three Kingdoms fan, the Guandao is never far away.

My Most used Weapons are the Karak (which still sees use these days as Titania's Dex Pixia gun), AkMagnus (Used for Mesa's Peacemakers but lethal in their own right) and Galatine (which has been retired for the Prime but kept for being my favorite for so long). I don't tend to keep things that i dont like or have been upgraded to prime unless they are hard to get (login etc or i have bought with PA ie Cernos Prime) or i really like them/have had them a long time, so as much as i despise the zenistar it stays and its good its name starts with a Z so it stays at the bottom of my weapons list and i dont have to see it often.

On Colour Pallets if you dont want a lot of them then having Smoke and Storm are good choices, Twilight is good as well and then there are the "free" seasonal ones. I have recently bought Grineer and have been using it a lot and i whole regret buying the full classic unlock to just get two shades of blue

Yeah, Smoke is great. I was thrilled when I got that one free off the Twitch Prime event around the release of Plains. Even more so when I realized that at some point in the recent past DE started allowing us to recolor Wraith gear, so I was able to revert to my preferred "ghost" camo for all my stuff. After all, FashionFrame is the true endgame.

    Speaking of FashionFrame...

Last night I decided to buy platinum to take advantage of the sale going on on warframes - bought myself a banshee, and then just for fun bought the Twilight color palette. I proceeded to spend 30 minutes messing around with color schemes on my ship and Volt, and completely forgot I'd bought a new warframe until later after I'd turned off the computer for the night. People were not kidding about the FashionFrame stuff.

Then you get into sigils, syandanas, weapon placements, armour pieces, poses, then colour co-ordinating your weapons with your frames and their sugatras (attachments for weapons)...

Captura is probably one of the best things that have happened to the game.

That's the old end game. New end game is Fishingframe. My Fashionframe urges ended the moment I got the Repala syandana. All I really wanted was a long flowing cape, so I could go swish-swish like a classy space ninja.

Also, just revealed my first melee Riven. Adds damage and crit, and more damage to Grineer to my Dark Split sword at the cost of attack speed. I have a Primed Fury, so I think I can work around it. Now if I could only get a Condition Overload...

So... I was just doing the Draco survival mission on Ceres. The one where you have to last ten minutes to get to Jupiter. And the freaking Stalker showed up. Granted, I ran rings around him most of the time, but didn't keep on top of life support and died that way. Yay.
I'm a Prestige Class! Thanks Zaydos!

Yeah, I feel like he only comes after me when I'm leveling brand new frames/weapons or attempting some kind of challenge. It's like he knows. Of course, once you have spoiler mode you can clear his damage resistance, which trivializes the encounter.

Mango is a dastardly irate unhinged scientist, for realz.

Credits, must have credits. 60,000 to Oberon, 150,000 each for Banshee and Zephyr, 30,000 for Arbiters of Hexis, Cephalon Suda, and Red Veil to level 2. Potatoes, Forma, Weapons and Sands of Inaros quest. So many things to buy.

    .

The Index is the one of the fastest ways to get credits AFAIK, but that's on Neptune and probably out of your reach at the moment. Dark Sectors are a nice alternative at lower levels though; the Seimei (sp?) node on Ceres is an infested defence, which will net you 20000 credits for 5 waves.
