I dislike cloudy, rainy days turning sunny and clear.
Sure, if there's a good personal reason for sunny weather I'm relieved (like me being outside a lot) but other than that the sun is just unwelcome and bothersome.
Waking up to a sunny day after rain is fine.

    Oh right, blade runner.
I hate that movie. It's by far the worst movie I've ever seen. My friends think it brilliant, but it's just bad. Badly written, badly acted, the dialogue is a jumbled mess along with the plot. it just bores me to tears.

Every time they get in the mood to watch it, I take some headache medicine that cause drowsiness so I can pass out and not watch it.

    But dark city is brilliant.

I confess that before your post, I had never heard of Jamba Juice. I had to google it.

To be fair, there are several versions of Blade Runner, and some of them are much better than others, so it might be that you've been exposed to one of the worse ones. Particularly when it comes to dialogue and plot coherence, the cuts make a big difference.

That said, it sounds like it might not be for you at all. I have to confess that I do find the film slow and a little dull in places (more of a problem when watching alone at home than it would be in the cinema, I think). It's not a film I'd pick to watch at a party or social gathering, I think. But I also can't deny its quality as a piece of cinematic art.

Some more than others. There's at least one version where an absolutely critical scene is cut completely due to studio executive whining, and it destroys the movie. It's like filming Lord of the Rings, then going through and cutting every scene which features the ring as something more than an ornament, including the climax. Is there still technically a movie there? Sure. Do things still happen? Sure. Is it going to make any sense whatsoever? Not so much.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

I'm not joking one bit. I would buy the hell out of that.

On the subject of movies that a lot of people consider classics but I absolutely hate: The Shining. I feel like I'm in pretty good company though, Stephen King hates it too.

Oh, and Fargo. I'd rather have a finger amputated than have to watch that again.

Between that and Burn After Reading, I figure I'm not and never will be a fan of anything labeled as "a black comedy". I have a pretty dark sense of humor, but apparently I have a wildly differing view of what constitutes dark comedy than the people who coined that phrase.

I always thought Burn After Reading was a "screwball comedy", albeit one that turns fairly dark.

But then I like my comedy like I like my coffee.

Normal for who, though? I'm fairly smart, got mostly A and B grades, and found school mind numbingly boring. Wasn't just taking "easy classes" either. Most of my teachers were at least capable of not great.

I'm down with education, I think it's really important. I'm saying school isn't great. It was tolerable when I was a student, but having seen what my offspring are in for, I'd homeschool them if I could stand to, and have them do extracurricular activities for social. Which one can do where I live, but it's a hassle because of accountability boards and paying tuition/participation fees on top of local taxes.

School hereabouts seems like glorified babysitting a lot of the time. And it's not often the teachers' fault, they have bosses who direct the narrative and it's go along or go find another job. (My cousin is a teacher in this state so I get to hear both sides; highly educational. )
