Gaze Into the Abyss

Duranos shrugs.
"The conflict is large enough, and presumably, the market is valuable enough for them to respond fairly quickly. Now, about our payment?"

Not hearing any response, Duranos looks around, seeking the best way to quietly depart the area.

"Your payment is safe passage out of the bazaar and a mode of transportation that will take you all the way to your destination. The perks are learning more about the errand you have been sent to run."

There are several relatively narrow alleyways that lead off of the main road. The surrounding buildings appear to mostly be warehouses, large two story affairs, with smaller booths, some of which are very haphazard in their construction. Although the giant beast is still visible over the rooftops, the inhuman shrieks, not of the hunted but of the hunters, are getting closer.

Duranos looks over at his slient comrades and thinks.
If those two weren't silent all the time, maybe, just maybe, a better deal would be possible, but sacrificing them this early isn't a good move. I'll probably end up needing them later, and it's always hard to de-sacrifice someone.
He doesn't look too happy.
"Very well. We accept your offer."
