    You reach Topaz Solutions without encountering anyone else. A wooden sign above the door bears a carving of a bundle of orange herbs and flowers hovering over a beaker filled with smoking orange liquid. The building's windows are tightly shuttered, but the front door hangs halfway off its hinges.

    Jemus, upon seeing the building, raises his hand in a fist. Scanning the surroundings but not spotting anything, he makes his way back to the group and describes what he sees.
    "I didn't see or hear anything, but that doesn't mean something isn't' lurking in there. I think we still need to check out the building, but we should exercise caution. I'll enter and scout it out. Anyone care to join me?" before heading off into the building as he hugs the walls.

    Alamryn has fallen silent again. During the funeral she had felt like she should say something, but couln't think of anything smart or wise or even just compassionate to say. Horgus hadn't been very nice, in fact he'd been kind of cranky and mean, but he hadn't deserved to die. None of what had happened was deserved. It all made her very sad, and the hopelessness was starting to creep on her again, despite the encouragement earlier.

    Jemus straightens up, and though he has his hand on his sword, he keeps it low rather than bringing up. "Friend, just looking for a safe spot to hold up while all of these demons and devils try to bring the world down on our heads. What about you? The same? Safer in larger numbers and all that." he says as he tries to roughen up his language a bit.

He points toward the northwest corner, toward a shelf of alchemical supplies. "Haven't checked the basement. With it hidden like that, doesn't seem like a smart thing to poke."

    Those outside see the door open, and a stranger is silhouetted in it.

    Upon seeing Trawyn's signal, Alanryn starts moving towards the building. She felt uncomfortable out here in the streets, the feeling that they could run into a demon at any time never went far

    "Who were they?", she asks Trawyn and Jemus once she reaches them, referring to the people she saw just leaving.

    I think its more likely you just allowed a pair of cultists to escape. Anyone who leaves a haven, and does not choose to seek safety of numbers, is probably working for the Demons.
