As you head as quietly as you can into the building, Tellos trips and slams against the doorjamb with a loud bang.

"Did you hear that?" you hear from the west, followed by a scraping sound. Before any of you can react, a tiefling clad in studded leather armor appears in the doorway. His eyes widen as he moves into the room, drawing a shortsword, and tries to stab Semult with it, yelling, "Crusaders! Heroes! Idiots!"

The bard cringes at the loud bang, then turns slowly to the scraping sound from the next room but it was too late. The tiefling guard was by him in an instant and just like that, the battle was joined...I suppose we were lucky to get this far unnoticed.
