Tarfu
Did anyone else notice Tarfu's odd way of talking? He always leaves off the subject pronoun, "I" or "We." I do that myself a lot when I am in IRC, actually, since the subject pronoun is usually identified by the name at the beginning of the line anyway. It is also common practice in many other languages, including Italian and Japanese, but it gives the dialog a strange, distant characteristic in English.
<Tarfu> Can't keep sending in leaderless stacks.
<Tarfu> Getting overwhelmed.
<Ansom> Indeed.
<Ansom> These may be weaker dwagon types, but they are strong examples.

Re: Tarfu
I mostly noticed how appropriate his name is for the situation Ansom is in.
But you are right.
