Based on Lira's list (posted above and a few other places), what gender every character in OOTS thinks V is:

: Never used any pronoun to refer to V.

But for what's it's worth, assigned V to her room at the inn. The wording suggests she's unsure.

But went for male in 654.

I also have done some independent research into this subject.

After traversing a desert, climbing a mountain, solving three riddles and crossing a burning rope bridge, I finally came to the ancient Zubanese Cave of Knowledge, said to contain every piece of wisdom in the known universe.

There, inscribed on a wall, was the answer. Vaarsuvius is a Glorshague.

As soon as I complete my Zubanese-to-English translator program I will return with more conclusive data.

I found it.....but......listen here......I had to go to many towns......interview many dark obscure cults worshiping the things called "The Great Old Ones"
it was a daunting, misty mystery, at the end of which, an unspeakable horror, of which that cannot be described, something so alien that its very existence was wrong, an eldritch abomination tearing at the very sanity of my mind, appeared in front of me and told me V's gender.

........and as soon as I was burdened with the knowledge, my mind cracked,the whole inner workings of the universe opened up before me, and I gone mad from the revelation, going completely insane from the incomprehensible knowledge, knowledge that cannot be put into words, thus my mind unable to take the unimaginable stress, retreated back into the darkness, and thus into sanity, unable to comprehend the answer.

I tried to find out V's gender also. It didn't work out so well for me. I cast commune and asked my deity what V's gender was. My deity instantly fell unconscious. Then, like a ripple effect, all the other Deity's and all the lower plains masters also fell unconscious. Then I took a backlash effect and passed out as well. I woke up one week later. The Gods then combined their magic and made it impossible to speak of V's gender on the upper plains or by magic in any way.

Which means he got it from V's genes, and that means V' had to have sex with an opposite gender. So if we can know the gender of V's mate, we can know V's gender. Now I'm going to research for the gender of V's mate.

Just because I've taken latin, and a name ending in -us means male.

Thus, considering this isn't a latin name, V must not be a male!
