He retreats a few feet away from the pressing attack and summons up some glitter to slow the creatures down. He hoped to buy enough time for the rest of the group to whittle the beasts into bits.

    Tharia & Dos feel the magic dragging them down wear off.

    Two of the enemies chase after Ganis; Khurdrum’s chain lashes out at one as it approaches, striking it and doing serious damage. He tries to trip it, but fails.

    Ganis steps back and heals himself. Torlak breathes fire on three of the creatures, killing one and bringing another to the brink of death.

    The three remaining creatures all spray cones of poison before falling back, running into the jungle. Familiar with the attack, everyone resists the poison and is unharmed. Dos swings at a retreating foe, but misses.

    Khurdrum’s spiritual hammer misses, as does Tharia’s charge. Torlak catches the same enemy with a cone of cold, which is more effective than Ganis’ burst of flame, which is totally ignored. The blast of cold kills the creature.
