During their time together, Svetlana has come to care for Sarah a great deal--to the point that Svetlana thinks of Sarah as "my child." The feeling is mutual--Sarah hasn't defined the relationship, but she doesn't object to being called that and has formed a bond closer to Svetlana than she has with anyone since her mentor betrayed her.(Unless you count the misfits, but they all got slaughtered right infront of Sarah just as she was starting to get attached. This is why I banked on the apparent time-skip in Hueco Mundo, becuase after that there was no way I could realistically show Sarah getting atached to someone else on screan I'm not a good enough writer for that.)

Caring for Sarah, educating her in how things go in Hueco Mundo, training her(to make her a useful asset to Las Noches,) and so on isn't just a responsibility she's taken, it's also literally her job for the forseable future.

She's also a Hollow.

The aptest metaphor for what just happened: Mikeal managed to simultaneously piss off a mother, a teacher, a babysitter, and a bear that is also a mother.

I kinda had to move things along with the Hollowtsuo fight, so I had Koutarou arrive and ask Naito to step aside for a bit. I know it wouldn't be in-character for them, but we were at a standstill with strawberry gone as it was.

I feel as though I should introduce Nuala to the Mortal World, soon. I might need to know more about the nature of the Sanctuary, though. Hard to storm a place you know nothing about.

If you're back and still in Hueco Mundo, I've been back for a while and used your vauge time-skip to justify advancing Sarah's storyline a bit off screen.

since I left the first time in part because you disappeared for a couple of months right after we finally worked out an agreement about how to handle interaction between Sarah and Nuala and that nothing not involving Nuala has happened in Hueco Mundo since then...

Mm, unfortunately, Nuala's no longer in HM. She walked out with her entourage in tow. She'll have been in the Mortal World recuperating for a little while now. I don't see a sensible way for her to learn about the Totenkreuz at this time, though. Instead, I'll be moving on with her designs on Hell, with a MW scene.

Nuala will be visiting a prison where several inmates have recently died of unknown causes, all with prominent acid-like burns on their bodies. With standard measures of ferreting out the killer utterly exhausted, the warden has turned to Nuala as a paranormal investigator, though he may not be particularly fond of the idea.

I'd like at least one shinigami to join me, but other characters are welcome as well, naturally. Is anyone interested?

I think all of my Shinigami characters are currently busy with "HOLYCRAPIT'STHEROYALGUARDANDALSOARAMPAGINGHOL LOW" but I'd be happy to bring in an NPC Shinigami if you can't find anybody else.

I just realized I haven't actually RPed with you properly since you joined the game, too.

As for the Sanctuary, you'll find assailing it is nothing short of a boatload of frustration. The thing is centered on a massive pool of landbound spiritual energy that is apparently sentient and can be very, very aggressive when it wants to be, while also prohibiting harmful acts and intentions within. In short, laying siege to it is pretty futile and going inside means you can only use negotiation tactics.

Be careful about angering the house if you do.
