Yay! for unplanned four day weekends. Even better when with my favorite person.
What could be better? She's planning on coming up and spending a weekend on a boat with me the same week I get to meet El Jaspero.

Re: The Convexity Thread
I am happy that tonight is my last night alone for a long time to come. Tomorrow after work I head to Cinci to help Thes pack up her apartment and prepare to move her to spooooooooky Wisconsin!
Oh man it is gonna be so awesome. Cohabitating in the Playground. *bounces* <3

Cohabitation? Wow, that's a big step. I... can't think of any comments that don't sound extremely cheesy, but good for you!

Re: The Convexity Thread
*offers Trog and Thes a happy, 'best of luck with the moving' balloon (cause as nice as it will be for you two to be in the same place, and as much fun as you'll have, moving is still a pain in the butt, so you'll need luck....) and a hug*
*bounces in excitement over the idea of meeting Phoe and Am at gencon* (You are planning on finding a little bit of time in your 'basking in each others glow' to come hang out with me, right? I only ask for a few moments.
(I'd be bouncing in excitement over you too Zombs, but I've already met you twice, so the novelty has worn off .... but I'm still very glad you're coming.....how's the 'convincing Ego to come' coming along? )
I know, I know....don't yell at me *slinks off to work on her protocol*

Re: The Convexity Thread
I feel fantastic, like I always do, but I guess that's because I'm always on top. I got a 31 on my first ACT, whoo. Then, I saw a girl I like at the mall, so I went and got a baby and handed it to her. It cried immediately, so I took it and put it back. Today, I've been driving about in the countryside, listening to Cat Stevens, thinking about being a half-orc bard.

Re: The Convexity Thread
Nah... The Depression Thread is like a huge nasty black hole that takes all the love and good energy and everything nice we have fought for away from us.
The Playground will never overflow from lovings, as long as these bad, mean people take everything we love away with their drama stories that make Banjo cry.

Re: The Convexity Thread
Finally got around to watching Battle Royale, something I've been meaning to do for years. Watching Japanese schoolboys'n'girls murder each other somehow makes my life seem more complete.

Re: The Convexity Thread
I'm extremely exhausted by work meanwhile...good thing tomorrow's the last day before my holiday starts Okay, due to the high amount of personal backlog, it will be even more stressing, but at the end, there's the highlight of every year for me(especially the not-so-good ones): Wacken Open Air!
It's a good tradition since 10 years, and as the whole band will be there, we will have a hell of fun that days.
And you wonder why I'm not able to get you over the border....

Re: The Convexity Thread
Woo....91 on my Greek test.
Plus I finalized my schedule for Fall term and I'll only be in classes 3 days a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays is Roman Drama, Plato, and Language and Cultures. Wednesdays is Psychology of Suicide. I could have taken Adolescent Psychology instead of Psych of Suicide, but then that would be Mondays and Wednesdays.
I like that schedule much more. This means I'll be able to work my job Fri-Mon, and when I'm able to request off, I'll be able to go home for the better part of four days. :)
Cheers,

Re: The Convexity Thread
I'm very happy at the moment. I took a big risk and moved a 1000 miles from home to stick around with someone I love and it's going well. I got a job in less than 3 days of being here, and it's the best one I've had so far!
I'm very happy...which makes me worried that somethin's gonna go wrong...

Re: The Convexity Thread
I have received 53000 Norvegian krones, 9244 USD, to arrange a metal consert in my town for. This is enough, together with the ticket sale to hire the best scene here and get 4 (!) good bands to play on it. And the best of it is that we have just balanced all or costs, so this is now a financially secure project!

Re: The Convexity Thread
Well, we got monye from EUs youth in action program, from which you also can get money if you deside do make a consert. If you do, please tell me and we could try to make an even together, with you sending some greek bands to us and us sending some norwegian bands to play for you, all paid for by this program (we can get about 10.000 euro).
This is the bands we are going to have playing at our event:
Melodic Trash
"Viking Metal" (mix of black metal and folk metal, with this the not nazi part, like enslaved)
Avant garde metal (like arcturus)
And a melodic death metal band that has no myspace siteLast edited by Narmoth; 2007-07-20 at 08:10 AM.

My son crawled for the first time today! Yeah. Wait.....now I have to babyproof the house!
Wow, I didn't know the playground even had a thread for happy thoughts...I will either find a way or make one.

Re: The Convexity Thread
This may make no sense as I just posted in the Depression thread, but I'm still happy about something. I'm watching Yugioh right now. It's a good show. I'd like to see what other anime shows there are though. I've decided I like anime. And I'm happy about it.
