Honestly, it's borderline impossible to find the matches and watch, without immediately knowing who won. But I'll go back and edit.

Even if you navigate there without finding any references at all - if there are only 3 games, you know it's a sweep (in a BO5), and even the champ select in the first match can sometimes tell you the outcome of the entire series. I'm absolutely serious when I say I consider it next to impossible to be surprised by anything if you're not watching live.

If you go to the lolesports VOD page, there will always be 5 links to the games, even if it's a sweep. Two just will be 'blank'. So it's very easy, and quite possible to avoid spoilers, assuming it isn't spoiled in a thread before hand.

I frequently catch up on series without knowing the outcome beforehand, and without being spoiled. The LOLEventVODs subreddit provides links (even if phony ones) for all five possible games, even if it's a only three or four game series, and they'll often throw up phony links for non-existent tie-breaker games in group stages as well, just in case.

In any case, it's literally just simple courtesy to stick things in a spoiler tag for events that are in progress or just happened.

Their site was also updated right before Worlds started I believe for a better user experience. I haven't used it much, but several reddit posts have said it makes a lot easier to avoid spoilers. YMMV
