Assassins arent the most focused on resilience. Or bravery for that matter. Mage are the one needed to break a crowd.

If we do run away, we could try coming back later after some quick healing. AND realize the size of the mind control range.

Also, its just mindless killing at this point. I cannot attack nonlethally by using my bow. We are level 2. I think my actions are sensible

I do think going throught roofs could be a answer... but you need to provide me with more details for it.
