R1T11: Brother Jaume steps into the room and stops to pray to Erastil, but in doing so a woman atop the desk inside - a woman with mirror image and yet made out of a mirror, seemingly - stabs Brother Jaume in the chest for 11. The pain is enough for Bother Jaume to lose his spell, but at least there is good light in here now.

R2T20: Given how crowded the room is, Kris flies away, before unleashing a ray of fire, but the mirror-lady darts out of the way.

R2T19: At a far lesser value than Winter, the mirrored surface that is distorted where Winter struck her starts to very slowly ripple to repair itself (FH1). From her spot on top of the desk, she performs this dizzying, flashing dance with her two blades, ending with a single stab to Brother Jaume's chest when he wasn't ready for it for 25.

R2T16: St. Dorn casts another spell on himself before stepping in and right up to Brother Jaume and the mirror-lady.

R2T12: Winter - now supported by her allies - steps towards the beast and slashes high, cutting what she thought would be a belly, but only getting rid of an image.

R2T11: Surprised by the potent attacks from the mirror lady, Brother Jaume steps back and prays to his God and receives 15 healing, though the spell is still gone for today.

R2T6: Lillian takes a moment to look the mirror-lady over and snaps the whip to try to disarm her, but fails so badly she drops her own whip.

R2T5: Ms. Wrentz sneaks up the little passage and pops out to shoot, but mirror-lady was ready and ducks, with not even an image as a consolation prize. Ms. Wrentz quick-loads her weapon.

R3T20: Since the mirror lady is still standing, Kris keeps shooting. It ought to work at some point. Just not this point. She moves out of the way quickly, but luckily the wider area covered by the images surrounding her means that an image goes away. A fair consolation prize, if any.

R3T19: The Mirror-Lady's blemishes continue to smooth over (FH1). With impossible skill she acrobatically jumps off the desk and tumbles around the room before anyone can respond to her to get to the northwestern corner. She gives a bad power thrust towards St. Dorn, who handily defends against the clumsy blow.

R3T16: St. Dorn steps away from the door and concentrates on a spell, but this time the threat posed by Mirror Lady is enough that he loses his spell.

R3T12: Winter, you heal from the remainder of general physical trauma (only). What do you do? You can't go directly NE because you are on the far side of the desk. If you try to go east along the wall, it counts as difficult terrain because of the thin passage and chair.

R3T6: Lillian picks up her whip and chugs an extract, and then shrinks down to about 3' tall. She then goes over to the desk, and climbs up on top of it while taking out her shortbow.

R3T5: Ms. Wrentz moves into the position vacated by Lillian, and hunkers down behind the friar's large frame.

R4T20: Kris tries to keep her distance, but not before a mirror-shard shortsword slams against her magic armor. Kris shoot a cold ray this time, helping her allies by popping yet another image.

R4T19: Continuing to slowly smooth out her "wound," the Mirror-Lady. She then begins a complicated attack sequence with her gleaming shortswords, focusing her fury against the friar who flung the furniture. Brother Jaume blocks the primary, but gets stabbed in the shoulder by the secondary for 7 (despite an attempt by St. Dorn to block it), but then his brilliant monk defenses protect him from another follow-up of a second attack from each blade.

R4T16: St. Dorn steps back, puts a hand on Brother Jaume for 11 healing, and then looks at the creature. "I see a faint aura of evil from this soulsliver - a creature who takes the form of victims, but in reverse, and feeds on them. I fear from what Ms. Wrentz said about the scar on a different hand that your friend Constable Barasill or whatever is deceased."

R4T12: Committed now to the knife fight, Winter grits her teeth slashing upwards at the silvery form, powered by Lillian's bless spell, and slashing it along its belly for 7.

R4T11: The doughty moneric clonk (TM) spins into a flurry of accurate punches and kicks, attacking the mirror creature. His first attack is blocked and deflected by her masterful use of two blades for defense, but Brother Jaume has far more weapons to bring to bear. While she is focused with that block which takes away the last image, he stomps on her foot for 7 NL, and then drops to his knee on the other foot for 11 NL.

R4T6: Lillian hops off the deck while drawing her rapier and stabs the Mirror-Lady in the left bicep for 15 + 2 STR, and Mirror Lady gives an anguished, oddly ringing cry with that strike.

R4T5: Ms. Wrentz pops out from behind Brother Jaume and shoots, misses, and reloads.

R5T20: Given the mirror creature is surrounded, Kris sticks to simple spells. All of the noise she makes from casting easily telegraphs her attack, though, and the Mirror Lady dodges.

R5T19: Mirror Lady gets FH1. She continues her focus against Brother Jaume, though this time she starts to fight with a little more defense in mind. Her first attack stabs Brother Jaume in his upper right arm for 8; the second comes low to get him in his right calf for 8; her first sword stays high and stabs him in the cheek for 8; and he finally deflects the last attack.

R5T16: St. Dorn can only watch helplessly as behind the line of heroes he is unable to help protect his friend. He prays to Torag to intercede on his behalf, his words devolving into some other-speak of a spell, and the older man touches the larger and light goes into Brother Jaume. Instead of healing, Brother Jaume is filled with the sense of many Toragdan paragons who have gone before to accomplish great deeds. Everyone looking at Brother Jaume can tell that as long as you can keep him alive, he has become something ... more.

R5T12: Winter winces at the savage triple stabbing of her friend. Looking at the creature she speaks loudly, "Thing of evil. You are not welcome here!" She raises a hand and a pulse of healing energy washes out over her and all of her allies but avoids the mirrored monster (11 healing).

R5T11: Brother Jaume presses the attack, now that his life blood no longer patter so freely to the stone floor at his feet. His first attack is a gorilla thump to the top of her head, braining her for 13 + staggered. He rechambers and then back elbow strikes her in the chest for 12. Finally, giving in to the flow of his charged life force he finishes with a ridge hand strike to her upper left arm for 8.

R5T6: Lillian steps back and casts a spell that seems to have no effect.

R5T5: Ms. Wrentz ducks down behind the big lummox again.

R6T20: Still flying in circles, Kris keeps throwing acid at the mirror. However, the mirror is completely unaffected by the relatively weak acid.

R6T19: The Mirror-Lady gets FH1, then does a quick step right into the very mirror that Kris just tried to tarnish. There's a brief warping of the mirror's surface, but then she's gone.

The party stands in tension for several more rounds before it becomes apparent that Mirror-Lady isn't going to just jump right back out again.

R2T24: Brother Jaume shrinks down to his normal rotund self before spinning into a flurry of kicks and punches at two of the fish-men. The first punch misses Yellow, but kick at Purple is particularly powerful - a brutal kick to its left lower leg for 15, and knocking it back 5'. It wasn't quite as far as Brother Jaume had hoped, but then the fish-man falls over from the pain.

R2T23: Having blessed the party, Winter darts through the door, chasing after the injured-looking Purple. Yellow thrusts a trident at her as she passes. Winter drives forward with her dagger at Purple, attacking with a keen determination to stab the fish-man in the groin for 8.

R2T20: Yellow, not realizing the futility of it all, sidesteps to flank Winter, but she avoids everything it has for her.

R2T18: Staying on top of the table, Kris shoots at Yellow, hitting it in the left shin for 2 acid.

R2T12: From her hopefully-hidden position, Ms. Wrentz moves carefully over to the fallen body of the previous battle's fish-man and from behind the table shoots at Yellow. It seems its fishy eyes note her just in time, but her bolt still catches the side of its neck for 6. She speed loads her crossbow.

R2T11: Purple steps back and with a mighty stroke hits Vessex for 10 with its trident, though its claw and bite find only thick carapace.

R2T9: St. Dorn casts a defensive spell on himself. Yellow seems to ignore St. Dorn as the elder man takes up position in the corner. "Keep your position here, Brother Jaume, that I may aid you against this one."

R2T7: Lillian moves to the doorway, but no farther in. She sets up a strong defense with buckler and rapier to protect the shooters.

R2T6: It takes several seconds, but the wasp is no longer dazed.

R3T18: Now flying again, Kris enters the other room, before throwing acid at the last fish-man, but also just missing.

R3T12: Carefully moving along the southern wall, Ms. Wrentz tries to take up a hidden position in the southeastern corner. She shoots, hitting Purple in the left shoulder for 6, before speed-reloading.

R3T11: Purple stabs the wasp for 4, but fails to land claw or bite.

R3T9: Seeing Lillian's familiar getting lit up a few times, St. Dorn moves forward and touches the wasp to grant 9 healing.

R3T7: "Thank you!" says Lillian to the saint as she steps into the room, calling on Calistria to heal the monk so he may continue her own mission of vengeance. She touches Brother Jaume for 10 healing.

R3T6: Vessex the wasp familiar aerobatically flies right up to the fish-man to sting him it in the neck for 1 NL + 1 poison.

R4T24: Brother Jaume says a quick prayer to Erastil before knocking an arrow and firing at the remaining fish-man using whatever guidance Winter granted him to aid his aim. Unfortunately, even with the help from the bless and Winter's guidance, Brother Jaume only recently took up the path of the archer. While skilled with the bow's use in target shooting, he has yet to really train in combat shooting, and his arrow skips off the scales of the fish-man.

R4T18: Staying on the ground, Kris keeps shooting, hitting the fish-man in the left foot for 3 acid.

R4T12: Ms. Wrentz repositions north of the doorway to be unseen by the enemy.

R4T11: The fish-man seems to be suffering from the wasp's poison, acting drunk and loopy. It steps back and makes several desperate attacks against Vessex.

R4T9: Though St. Dorn moves forward to keep up the pressure, he still doesn't attack. He touches the wasp again with healing power to close the remainder of its wounds.

R4T7: Lillian comes up and around from the east to attack wildly.

R4T6: The wasp artfully zooms into the fish-man's area and stings his left inner elbow viciously for 1 NL.
