"Yes, the last spell exchange party went pretty well. I'm sure this one will as well," the professor commented.

"Well...I wouldn't want to be bored," Trelane said, picking up a bag of sweet feed and taking it to Kamyol's wagon, being careful not to make eye contact with him...

Osman shoulders a bag on either side and heads for the wagon.

Alloishus and Bartleby help load the sweet feed into the wagon.

Skrolk scurries over and assists in the loading of the feed

After loading the sweet feed, Alloishus pulled out his spellbook. "So Xerex and Skrolk, I just need to find Minerva and we can get this study session started."

Billy and Kamoru finally are able to return to the Crafting Area, Niyolaku in Tow. Seeing the Prince, Billy moves in his direction, the professors spear still in hand.

"Prince, do we have word when the crafting spire will be operational?"

Alloishus looked to Billy. "I haven't heard anything definite, but maybe tomorrow."

Alloishus opened his spellbook. "Gentlemen, my spellbook. Nothing too amazing, but if you find anything you like, be my guest to copy free of charge."

Billy Nodded.

"I see your books are out young prince, does this mean your sister, and Hanar will be joining us for your Arcana Party?"

[Andrew Markham]

A messenger appears. He clears his throat and opens a parchment. "General Hobbleton sends word! The crafters and their protectors are all invited to a feast on the castle grounds in celebration of your achievements! Nobles will be attending and will be told of your deeds, that you might gain greater favor and patronage with them, so wear your best finery!" The messenger looks perplexed, then adds, "He has underlined- 'Especially Skrolk!'" He shakes his head, then moves on. "Appear at the castle gates just before sunset and you will be escorted in. That is all!"

The messenger bows and says, "I was told to carry any reply you might have to him. He has resumed his offices within the Castle and won't be able to see you until the feast."

[Wolfykins]

Kamoru grimaced. "Well I don't really have any 'finery', so I guess it's a good thing there's time to go shopping," she said.


Kamyol grunted and nodded as he flopped another bag of sweet feed into the wagon. "I guess we can do that on the way back from dropping this off for the Holy Avengers," he said.


Kamoru tilted her head to the side and looked at her brother. "We? I didn't know I was doing any such thing," she said, raising an eyebrow.


"Well neither did I," Kamyol said with a grin, "but you're here now and we both need nicer clothes, so you might as well come with me and we get both done."


Kamoru sighed. "Point taken," she said. "Does anyone else need to go clothes shopping and want to tag along?" she asked as she moved to help Kamyol load the rest of the sweet feed onto the wagon.

Billy looked down at his silk clothes that were still torn and bloodied from the battle yesterday.

"Yes.... I think I need some new clothes. Ill go with you"

[EdgeGrinder]

"I told my sister earlier and I hope Hanar heard about it." Alloishus answered Billy.

Bartleby looked down at his own clothes. He wore work clothes. "I think I should go too. Unless I go wearing my priestly robes."

"Well if we're meeting with nobility, I better have something nicer to wear than this," Trelane said gesturing to his new armor and the pickpocket outfit undeneath..."I better come."

"Well I'm broke so I'll have to go in my standard robes," Then he turned to Alloishus, "Nonsense, every wizard's spellbook is unique, says something about them. I already see a few things mine doesn't have that I may wish to learn. As for mine, here's what I currently have:

"Oh, don't be silly, Professor! I'll buy you whatever you need! It's no fair to have you making a lesser impression than the rest of us when you already sacrificed so much!" Kamyol protested. "Just tell me your size and preferred colors. I don't want to drag you away from your spell swap, so just leave it to me!"

Billy calls up to the Prince

"Sir. if you wouldnt mind, A Quick Mending and cleaning on my current outfit for proper fitting, would be most appreciated, if you have the spell power readed. "

Bartleby smiled and touched Billy's clothes, casting Mending. "I make a fine tailor too. As a Forgemaster, I can cast Mending at will."

"And I dry clean." Alloishus laughed. He cast Prestidigitation on Billy's clothes to clean them.

[Andrew Markham]

Minerva Figleaf and Hanar enter the crafting hall. Hanar is talking animatedly, while Minerva has gone slightly pale. "I know that the practice is sometimes looked down upon, but I consider it a fair tool in advancing the cause of arcane knowledge. It is also an excellent method of gaining knowledge of the spells of spontaneous arcane casters who normally can not share their innate abilities-" "OH Hello there brother!!" Minerva cries, cutting off Hanar's monologue by moving quickly away from him towards Alloishus. She takes Al's hand, then sees the open spell books and grins. "Excellent, I've arrived just in time!" She sits down in the naturally occurring circle of spellcasters and raises a finger. "Now just as last time, there will be no fees for the privilege of copying spells, yes?"

Hanar's colorless white eyes look from where Minerva was to where she has quickly run, then shrugs and sits across from her. "While I would benefit from such a charge, there is little point in insisting on it if we are going to then spend those funds on purchasing spells from each other. The money would simply circulate until everyone was where they began. Speaking of, let us begin."

Billy Sees Hanar and moves to him. He bows slightly to him, showing respect.

"Master Hanar, there may be some training myself and young Kamoru would like to do, and we do not have the time to do it. You have shown much expertise in the teleport spell, would you be able to somehow mark the group before they leave tomorrow, in order to be able to teleport us to them when our training in complete, so we can still aid the group?'

[Andrew Markham]

Hanar ponders for a moment, then nods. "If one of your traveling companions will leave me a piece of their hair or some other part of their person, I can scry for them to determine location for a teleport. It will require me to have the proper spells prepared, which I can do. This training is not something you can do while traveling?"

[Wolfykins]

"That depends somewhat on how we're going to travel," Kamoru interjected. "If we're going on foot, then yes... it's just practicing riding Niyolaku, for me. But if we're going to use quicker means, it would be more difficult. But we don't even know where we're going yet!"

[Darius Vibrtrar]

Billy nods and looks to the Prince.

"Your highness, would you mind lending hair? to Hanar?"

He turns back to Hanar.

"No. It requires Meditation, Stillness. Formation of New forms, and the loss of old ones. "

Xerex smiled at Kamyol's offer, "Really? I would greatly appreciate that my friend." He took a spare piece of parchment and wrote down his size and color preferences,(Shades of blue dominant, I'll trust your own best judgement on secondary colors).

Xerex's face lit up when Minerva entered the hall. He thought back on Kamyol's advice and rose to his feet in a respectful greeting, "Princess Minerva! It's wonderful to see you again. We were just about to begin. And yes same rules as last time, only thing that we have to worry about is time and materials. By the way Hanar, I have to thank you for last time, the spells I learned from you did come in handy."

[Wolfykins]

Kamyol pocketed the note and smiled. "No problem at all!" He plopped another bag of feed on the wagon and brushed off his hands.
"I'm pretty sure that's all the feed now. Thanks for the help, guys. We can get going when you're ready, Billy, Trelane, and... Bart? Did you decide whether to buy new clothes or wear your priest robes?"

Minerva's face flashes briefly in surprise, then sadness, then a huge grin breaks out. "Professor! Welcome back to the Material Plane!" She takes his hands in her own. "You should have seen how upset my brother and your friends were when they came back without you. I think it hurt them greatly to see you die. I'm SO glad that has been undone," she tells him somberly. Then she claps her hands and rubs them together. "Now! Let's see what new things we can learn today!"

Bartleby thought for a moment. "I think, I'll go with my priestly robes, but I think I will still go shopping. Leave the wizards to their tomes."

Alloishus began to study the Haste spell from Hanar's spellbook.

Billy thanks Hanar, The Prince, and Bart and moves to the twins.

"Alright, Im ready to go... clothes shopping. Lets see what we can find."

[Wolfykins]

"Alright!" Kamyol said cheerfully. "Let's deliver the grain to the Holy Avengers, and we'll note when we see clothing shops on the way, and we can browse them in leisure on the way back."


Kamoru grabbed the donkeys' lead and clucked her tongue at them to get them moving. "Stay here for now, Niyolaku, you still need rest," she told the wolf over her shoulder. Handle animal: (1d20+14)[27]


Niyolaku huffed, but sat down by the door and watched them leave.

Trelane nodded, "I'm ready to head out when you guys are," and seeing that Kamyol was speaking to him again he offered his hand speaking softly so only he'd hear, "I took things too far earlier. I didn't mean to blow up at you like that."

The professor rubbed his own hands shyly, a little awestruck at even a minor show of affection from the princess. "Yes, I am extremely fortunate to have such good and loyal friends to care about me so much in such a short time...but you're right, we only have five hours so let's get to work!" He took out his new spellbook he got from K'thol, "As for my recent...demise, I do have to say at least one positive thing came from it. This new spellbook will make things easier as writing in it bypasses the materials requirements normally associated with copying a spell." He looked over at Minerva's spellbook and was impressed by the Abjurer's vast knowledge. After recent events, Resist Energy seemed a REALLY good spell to learn...

"Speaking of spells, Minerva, Stoneskin was extremely useful. It really saved my... skin." Alloishus paused to let his pun set in. "I owe you 250 gold to replace components."

[Wolfykins]

Kamyol stiffened, and he opened his mouth to speak.


Kamoru elbowed Kamyol in the ribs. Hard.


Kamyol grunted and shot her a dirty look. His gaze shifted back to Trelane. "I... said things to you to be hurtful on purpose," he admitted reluctantly. "That was wrong of me. Wouldn't you agree? That it's wrong to say things to intentionally hurt your allies, even if you think you have good reason?" he asked significantly, fixing Trelane with a pointed stare.
