If the parsing process takes an error in the A of "A or B" to be equivalent to "A is false", it falls to the second term. The second term claims the sentence is null. The sentence is not null. Thus: False, which is generally not the same as null. If false is the same as null, then it resolves as undecidable, and no sensible system capable of determining a self-referential claim to be undecidable would then try to continue evaluating the claim based on that, so it stops there.

This is an old paradox, seriously.

(If it doesn't do that first thing, we're in the same situation as the first example, since everything falls apart on A)

Me, I live in Canada. So any mention of King or Queen (especially the latter) tends to call up images of either our Head of State, or a historical monarch of England.

President always makes me think of the country that I can see if I look south across the water on a clear day.

Depends which king, although the title makes it easier.

    King Louis XIX/XX of France:

Or Henry V/VII, King of the French:

Personally I'm a Unionist and so would favour Henry, of the two. Calling either of them bald would be a bit harsh, although Henry is definitely balding.

Yes, I know that's not the point in the question.

Old and really really annoying, as I explored in my favorite philosophy paper. It's really really hard to get a null value into a consistent logic that does what we want it to do.

Probably not. But, as with a lot of language, intent (and your relationship with the person) has a lot to do with things.

Why Finland of course! Just like when someone says president. We gotem both!

As for queen and king, Queen Elizabeth II comes first for queen and for king... Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway. Which makes no sense. I guess I have already adjusted my brain to his future as the king. Surprised me, since the King of Sweden should in a sense come to mind first.

Queen, King and Prime Minister I associate with the UK. When I went to school we had to learn the kings and queens of merrie old England from 1066 up to the present day, so whenever other royalty comes up my thoughts tend to run, "Oh, X has a king as well?". President is generally associated with the US.

Hehe. Expenses went way up but they shouldn't stay up - I'd say I can pay this thing off in 6 months. Obviously I'll have to pay insurance, but it doesn't look like that would be too bad (I'm over 25 with a clean record).

You need to worry about servicing as well, don't forget. Also, does the US have an equivalent of the UK MoT test where you have to get the car checked out for safety every 12 months?

Trust me, I've counted. I also got a 3-year service plan.

It's a bit more of a cost, but having a car also means I have a lot more options when it comes to making money.

I'm thinking of taking up plasma donation. Apparently around here they'll pay you extra if you agree to let them give you certain vaccines.
