MASS CHAOS I: Better Name Not Found

Actually, new plan. Voting for Xihirli. And here's why!

So we* know that the wolves have a vortexer (someone who swaps targets of night powers) and we all know that Xihirli has claimed to have a vote stealing power. While I still believe Aventine to be the most likely wolf, it... kind of doesn't matter. If we lynch Aventine today and they're not a wolf, town probably loses if Xihirli has both a vortexing power and the vote stealing power. On the other hand, we haven't gotten any claim that Aventine has any vote stealing powers. So we lynch Xihirli today and the next day Aventine. The reason for this is even with one maybe town person down (Xihirli) and a night kill (either one of my two roles or flatfooted) we still outnumber Aventine, lynch them and town wins. I've checked with Duck and both of my lives count for the number of people the wolves need dead to win. I should note it's vitally important nobody uses any night actions the coming night because.... again... the remaining wolf is a vortexer and them doing that just right is about the only thing that can result in the wolf team winning at this point, which is why we need to deny them the option to do so by not doing any night action.

In case flatfooted has not yet figured this out, one of my roles is the other mason. I can link the QTs needed to prove this if I have to.

If anyone is asking themselves "but what if there's two wolves?" Don't bother. If that's the case we've already lost as one of them assuredly would be Xihirli in that scenario and they have lynch control already.

If anyone is asking themselves "but what if flatfooted is the wolf?" My response to that is that I think the scenario that flatfooted was town while alive and comes back as a wolf is only about 10% compared to my 60% chance view that Aventine is a wolf and my 30% chance view that Xihirli is. Without any real information to increase that chance, it's just not what I'm willing to bet on and sadly we're out of time and roles with which to gain that information (and there's a vortexer so even if we had scries they wouldn't be reliable means of gathering information).

Day 9 Over.

The town was quiet once again. Not even everyone showed up, but those who did reached a consensus, making one person sad. All in all, that sad person was the one who they wanted to kill. Everyone had heard rumors of them being a devil, but no one was sure about it. And if she was a devil, how would they kill her? Well, they figured it out. She was a devil, but not a very strong one. Not a very mean one either.

And so, night came and went with the evil still around. It was definitely getting to a point where town was cutting it very close if they still wanted a chance to win. Once again, someone died, and once again, they didn't really die.

Please, don't make me laugh. If you (Ramsus) wanted me dead, you'd have killed me ages ago. You haven't even bothered to put me under pressure, even after I said I'd claim under pressure. You made a big deal about how I must be a wolf way back when, yet have seemed very intent on avoiding killing me. I don't mind, but are you really going to continue to pretend now?

I know what you are, and you must know what I am by now. I'm fine with either you dying or flatfooted. Hell I'm fine with Aventine getting votes. I've won already, just a question of who will be winning with me.

Also, the reason you haven't won yet is because you could still try to NK me tonight, which would fail and bring up a repeat of today.

Seriously though, just kill flatfooted. The "make it look like I don't know what's going on so I look less wolfy and can save my skin tomorrow if necessary" thing isn't a bad move, but why risk it?

Or hey, try and fail to kill me and let flatfooted win instead of you. Your call.

Unless I'm voided tonight as well, the night kill won't work on me. My resurrection was only applicable to a lynch, which is why I allowed it to happen before, just cause I wanted to see it happen. I'm immune to the things that go bump in the night.

End Night 10

After so many nights where the town was content to sit quietly and watch, suddenly there was a last minute scramble. A power struggle between three immortals, only one of whom was actually immortal. The night stretched on for hours less than usual, and the fight wouldn't end. Now, these three 'immortals' knew one of them would die, and for some strange reason, they were still trying to confuse each other.
BAM
A huge fist flew through the air right into the face a professor.
Oh, sorry sir! I thought you were evil for a second there.
He only gets a glare back. Then they both come to a sudden realization.
Where's the other guy?
They stand back to back, watching the shadows, jumping at the slightest movement. Something is lurking out there, preparing to strike. There! A shadow definitely moved. The teacher watches it intently, and soon sees what it was.
A cat. Just a cat. He breathes a sigh of relief just as the cat leaps onto his face and rips out his throat.

Flat_footed was locked away in the cat's dungeon due to his inability to be killed.

That night happened because if Aventine had not voided Ramsus, there was a chance for Ramsus to kill Aventine or bane whoever Aventine killed. However, Aventine voided Ramsus, which meant game.

Teacher (Rammus):
Due to your vast knowledge, you get a random action each night. Pick a target each night. You will be notified what your ability did and any results you get. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Animal Lover (Kish):
Each night, you may have your animals follow someone and see who targeted them. You also have an extra life. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Crazy Cat Lady (Thematthew):
You have a bunch of cats, and four of them can follow people around each night for different effects. You can pick one of the following to use each night:
Siamese: You get a scry
Persian: You get a scry
Maine **** (I never knew this was a bad word): You get a scry
Corgi (Not a cat, but cute enough): You get a scry
You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Bodyguard (Eggel):
You have a day-bane. Pick someone each night and they can’t die during the next day. This cannot target the same person twice in a row. You also have an extra life. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Devil (Xihirli):
You’re actually a pretty nice devil. However, you still have evil(ish) powers. Each night, pick someone. During the next day phase, their vote counts for whoever you vote for. You also have an extra life. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.


Pony Destroyer (igordragonian):
You are a vigilante. You have a night kill that can be used three times in the whole game. You also have an extra life. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Vanilla Ice Cream (Generic-Guy):
Basic Villager (Duneyrr):
You and the masons. Each night, target two people. One is a guess at the Vanillager. If you guess correctly, the Vanillager will join you as a third mason. The other person is to be boosted. Their ability becomes stronger for the night. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Trekkie (Nozza):
You have a transporter, a phaser, and a tricorder, one of which you can use each night. You must use all three before you can repeat one of them. They each do as follows:
Transporter: No actions affect you tonight.
Phaser: Void someone (only ever set to stun)
Tricorder: Get an alignment scry.
You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Vanillager (Rammus):
You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Jester (TBFProgrammer):
You’re great at imitations. After someone dies, you can choose to get their ability (without necessarily knowing what it is). This does not work on wolves. You can also only have one ability at a time. If you want to take someone else’s, you lose your previous one. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

That Guy (flatfooted):
After dying, you come back two nights later (unless you are voided and night killed in the same night). You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

The Magician (Logic):
You’re magical (yet only a bit)! Each night, pick one person. If they are night-killed, both you and they will be notified, and they will survive until the end of the next night phase at which point they will die. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Twitter User (OrbitalPanic):
Each night, you may “follow” someone and see who they target. You are town and win when all wolves are dead.

Vortexer (ThePhantom):
Pick three people. Their targets rotate (the second targets whoever the first chose, the third targets whoever the second chose, and the first targets whoever the third chose). They are not notified. You have an extra life.

Liar (Elenna):
Pick either scry or bane and a target. The target will be told they received a one time use of the ability to use during the next night. If bane was chosen, the bane doesn’t do anything. If scry was chosen, they get a random result. You are also an alpha (scries on you show up as town).

Fiend (Pelican):
You are the devil. You will be told the role name and alignment of anyone you scry. You can choose to skip your scry for one night and get a day-bane the next night instead of a scry (give up 2 scries for a day bane).

Cat (Aventine):
You are a wolf with nine lives. However, if the animal lover or crazy cat lady participate in your lynching or target you at night, they can take away up to eight of your lives. You will be notified how many lives you lost. You can also target someone each night to distract (void) them.
(Secretly: Getting hit my the pony destroyer takes out half the cat's lives, rounded up.)

You want to find and kill/lynch the doctor at least once. You have a one time use night kill.

Thrill Seeker (Silent_Interim):
You are a neutral. Each night, you may target someone. Anything that would target them targets you instead. No one other than you knows of this difference. Your goal is to be targeted by at least 5 different abilities before you die or before the game ends.

Aventine only had 1 life left when the game ended.
The game ended on Night 10, which is a nice round to end on.
Elena basically won the wolves the game by giving a scry to Logic early on.
This is the second time I've included a role like Logic's and it has yet to hit the right person.
