I challenge you to name one good thing about the Marvel Cinematic Universe (pre-Iron Man).

While I was working I caught bits of X-Men (they play movies for the "guests" in the Jail on the 7th floor at my job).

I saw a scene where a little boy is being separated from his mother at the gates of a concentration (death) camp.

Such was the boys distress that through force of will he makes the bars of the gates bend!

I didn't really catch much of the rest of the film, but that scene alone makes it a better film than Iron Man which didn't seem particularly good to me.

Yeah, that tears it. It's pretty clear to me you hated it before you ever watched it and never gave it a chance.

In fact, here's a test: Name one positive thing about the episod. ONE. Even the worst garbage has its merits, if it's actually bad you should be able to do that. Not being able to name one positive shows a determination to hate it from the beginning.



I count AT LEAST 32.

It's pretty clear to me that you just can't handle the fact that someone else sees something you like in a negative light, and that your attempts to persuade me that I'm wrong for not liking it are making it worse, not better.

I didn't have a preconceived hatred of Rick and Morty before I'd seen it, because I had never heard of it. I had a friend recommend it to me, and describe it as "Back to the Future if Doc was drunk." As it happens, I like BttF. My friend's past recommendations have been pretty hit-or-miss with me, with about a 50% success rate, so his recommendation is not a strong indication one way or the other whether I will like a show. However, we're friends so I gave it a watch. Hated it instantly.

I see no point to your silly test. It's not my job to convince you that I'm allowed to dislike a show, nor that I do so for reasons you find acceptable. If a positive attribute sprang to mind readily (it didn't), I might mention it just because, but I'm not about to watch another episode just for your sake.

And you count 32 what? Different voices that the guy does? That's a pretty big difference from "the guy who voices Rick also voices Morty," which is the information I was given before. I still think his voice acting sounds like a guy speaking into a microphone rather than an actual character, which is what I meant in calling it amateur-ish.

Now for the love of pizza, can we move on? I've already wasted too much mental energy on this show and I'm getting nothing out of this debate.

Sorry, but due to the Laws of Thermodynamics and the Law of Conservation of Mass, I nor anyone else can undo the toxicity on the internet. We can only contain it.

Besides, one of the things that comes with free speech is having to put up with ideas you don't agree with. While annoying, it's somewhat of a good thing. Just remember that you have free speech too, and can criticize their criticism.

I understand that there are some people who are passionate about a TV show that they like but in all honesty not everybody isn't going to like the show. People have a right to choose to dislike a show whether you agree with that person or not. And I respect that people opinion on it.

Despite the covers those comics are NOT porn and have some interesting plots.

Back in the days of MySpace, I was bored at work one day and wrote a bunch of crummy haikus. I posted them on my page when I got home, and people actually liked them, which was embarrassing because they were meant to be stupid to show my contempt for poetry.

I used to own an SNES a long time ago. I play so many games like Super Mario World.
