The dwarf slows, fumbling at something around his neck. An ear-piercing whistle rings out.

Chloe just runs up and tries to punch that whistle down his gullet. Or at least make him incredibly sorry that he did that...

Round 4, Part 1

Chloe catches up the dwarf easily, raking him with her claws.

Round 4, Part 2

The dwarf ducks away, backpedaling and throwing his hammer, catching it as it returns to him. The whistle drops from his mouth as he growls in Dwarven. “Whatever you are, the 45th will hunt you down and skin you, beast.”

That does it. In the telling manner of her ninjitsu powers, Chloe's stripes shift sideways and she vanishes, only to reappear behind the mouthy dwarf a moment later and she lashes out with her heavy clawed arm.

The dwarf tries to escape, but Chloe manages to choke him out over the next half-minute. He collapses to the ground, temporarily unconscious.

Chloe picks up both dwarves and flees the scene. Though it may take her awhile when she adds the third dwarf (and cuffing anybody over the head who starts to groan or stir) she circles back around where the original dwarves following her party to make it back to where she split off from her own party, trusting in her ability to track them by scent.

Magnenhild looked up, her towering form standing at the grove entrance, watching over it and the camp as the others had a chance to rest for the day finally, as Chloe approached, carting a whole lot of Dwarf with her.

Manus, as a being that does not need nor enjoy food, has taken it upon himself to cook for the group tonight.

I needed to post this sooner, but Chloe used one of her Pass w/o trace potions as she started lugging those dwarves back "home". She now has 5 left

Silent as a falling shadow, Chloe ambles past the giantess, The last naughty boy managed to scream real loud when I caught up to him, but they didn't get a chance to actually tattle on us to anybody else. Also, I had to leave in a hurry so I don't know what they're carrying...."

Accepting any help (and the food, no matter how terrible it may be) Chloe begins to strip the other dwarves of their belongings...

Once there down to there Skivvy's, Magnhild took a firm hold on them. She wasn't harming them, but she was making sure they would go no were.

Manus loads the dwarves' gear onto the wagon, far our of their reach and out of sight.

Chloe sits cross legged on the ground within arms reach of the pile of dwarves that may be soon to wake up, still in were-tiger form.

"Hrmph. So, what do we ask them when they wake up? And should I remain this way or make myself more presentable?"

[J-H]

The caster dwarf awakens first, grunting at the heavy weight pinning him down. He thrashes unsuccessfully, then looks about wide-eyed. “What…?”

[Rhyvurg]

"Remain peaceful and you will not be harmed."

[J-H]

The dwarf stills, looking up at the monstrous visage of the flesh golem, crafted from the body parts of the dead. “Undead!” He struggles more vigorously.

"No, actually, he isn't. And if he had any malice toward you, or indeed, if any of us did, we've had you at our mercy for some half hour at least by now. We've have already done you the harm.

We haven't, because, and this may come as a shock too you, we don't have malice toward you. Questions, given the times we live in, but not Malice.

Now, if you'd be so kind as to use your brains for a moment and calm down, we can talk. Depending, you may even walk away form this with a story to tell but otherwise no worse for wear."

The Giantess wasn't stern, firm, but not stern. She was offering them some softness and logic in the hopes that would get them to realize they were not in immediate danger.

The dwarf stills, staring at her with wide eyes. His compatriots are still unconscious, for the moment.

[Metahuman1]

"Now, take a breath. Steady yourself. I want to ask you some questions. We will start very basic. I am Magnhild. What is your name?" She was trying to be gentle, the best frame of reference she had was a softer tone she'd used when interacting with children, so she was tapping that now.

[J-H]

The dwarf starts with a stutter, but his voice firms up partway through. “L-Logan… Corporal Logan Rocksleeve of the 45th Dwarven.”

[Simba]

Assuming R'Ror is with them, he stands behind the dwarf's head, looking down on him and showing his teeth.

[J-H]

"I'm surrounded by monsters!" Corporal Rocksleeve exclaims.

[Rhyvurg]

"You will be released once we are sure you do not pose a threat to us. Tell us what your unit is after, please."

[J-H]

"Just watching the road for trouble or traffic.
We found some."

[Rhyvurg]

"Trouble you brought on yourselves. What claim do you have to this area, that you have the right to spy on it's roads?"

[Metahuman1]

"Were only trouble for you if you are trouble for us. If your not trouble, were not trouble. We might even be friends, who knows, big world, lot's of possibility's." The Giantess rumbles to them gently again.

"On who's behalf were you watching the road?"

[J-H]

“This region belongs to the 45th Dwarven Battalion. Colonel Obsidian is trying to rebuild civilization, not that…” He seems to think better of continuing that thought. “Release us and move along and you won’t be hunted down and killed. You were going east out of our territory, just keep moving.”

[Rhyvurg]

Manus ignores the meaningless threat. "Not that...what?"

[J-H]

The dwarf remains mum.

[Rhyvurg]

"We are not opposed to friendly relations. If we had a common enemy, we could work together. But not if we don't know who that enemy is."
