Druid Thaumaturgist....

OK, Thaumaturgist is a nice prestige class for summoners, but it does require being able to cast Lesser Planar Ally to enter, which is a problem for Druids and Spirit Shamans (Spirit Shamen?).

One could become a Summon Nature's Ally Thaumaturgist as an Archivist, but what ways are there to get LPA on a Druid or Spirit Shaman?

Any thoughts?

There is also the domain druid from Unearthed Arcana but it's not technically a real archetype.

There is always Extra Spell... but this feat is a bit GM-dependent.

I was hoping to avoid Contemplative as it would make earliest entry 12th level (Contemplative being 10th).

There is also the domain druid from Unearthed Arcana but it's not technically a real archetype.

Now that has some mileage, though needs a fair bit of skill focus: handle DM to first get the UA classes in play, and then to get a domain not so obviously nature linked. Could be worth pursuing though.

I'd argue Lust (being one of the domains that has it mentioned above in another post) is quite "nature" linked.

Planar Touchstone[Catalogues of Enlightment] higher order ability will let you cast spells from your chosen domain. That does require passing some knowledge skill checks though, and Druids don't typically max Int.

Alternatively, picking up any domain (Church Inquisitor/Holt Warden) and then casting/UMDing Substitute Domain could work.

Also, at 12th level of Moonspeaker PrC (Races of Eberron) you will get several extra spells for your list - including Lesser Planar Ally.
