And just when the druid thinks he is gonna get hit with viscious mockery, Milosh flings two daggers at him. Always zig when they think you'll zag.

    Milosh throws two daggers which appear in his hands as if from no where, one strikes the hooded figure squarely in his chest, the other nearly goes wide but delivers just as damaging a blow to the man's arm. [10 dmg total]

    I don't know that this has come up before but we are going to use each instance of damage as a different check (rather than total damage sustained). If I do it to enemy casters I'll use the same method with you guys.


    Despite blood stains starting to creep down the man's robes from the wound in his chest and arm and the singed frays left behind by the lightning bolt the grasping grasses and underbrush do not release their grasp on Milosh.

    The robed druid walks calmly forward, 20 feet to the edge of the area of writhing grasses, and then wades another 5 feet into the difficult terrain. [he is 10 feet from you i.e. one 5 foot square between you].

    As he walks forward he shakes his shoulders and head about throwing back his hood and revealing a wild mane of unkempt hair and beard. As he shakes a small cloud of dust, dirt, mites, and spores, seems to spread around him. You see shelf fungus forming on his body as creeping yellow and black molds spread across him like some strange armor, toadstools sprout from his shoulders and from within his hair.

    He reaches for a cudgel hanging from his waist, waves it in the air while chanting something in a language you don't understand. the cudgel itself seems to glow for a moment with a sickly green color and some of the fungal growth extends along its length from the man's hand.

    [activates Symbiotic Entity and casts Shillelagh]

    I'll have that wand, I believe you stole it from a friend of mine. with each word a small puff of spores comes out of his mouth, or is possibly shaken off his wild facial hair.

    Returning from the cart, Sandu quickly takes in all that is happening and rushes into the clearing, shield and staff in hand.

    The Boar continues to charge forward another 90 feet, coming to within 30 feet of Milosh to the NNE (North by North East). Its thundering approach trampling stumps, fallen timber, and underbrush in its path.

    Its appearance is disgusting, a whole section of hide is missing from its rights side showing exposed rotten flesh beneath straining against exposed ribs, some cracked and broken. Its eyes are pure white, with no irises or pupils, but a slick yellow ooze drains from one of them. It looks like something once killed by a series of vicious attacks and crudely stitched back together again.

    It turns its face (and tusks) towards Milosh and begins to change the direction of his charge.

    The other Boar is not yet visible and any sound of his approach is drowned out by the noise of the near one.

    One misses entirely and the other strikes one of the fungal growths which sprouted on the man's leg [5 dmg].

    The druid is...distracted by the attack and loses concentration on his spell, all of the grasses writhing and entangling Milosh instantly go limp.

    Freed of the entangling grasses Milosh moves 30 feet east to meet with his approaching friends.

    The druid paces along behind.

    Oh no you don't!


    Milosh hears the druid casting a spell, in a language he doesn't know (but assumes it to be druidic).
    Beiro can see the druid chasing after Milosh make a grand sweeping gesture raising both hands into the air (one holding a cudgel).

    Suddenly everywhere within 100 feet of Beiro in all directions (excepting a wedge shaped piece from Milosh to the druid and from Milosh to the Boar) erupts in wild plant growth, the knee high grasses surge to more than waist deep, broken twigs swell into full brambles. Even in the road the bare soil is flung apart by new sprouts leaping towards the sun.

    Only its not only plants that have been accelerated. Mold spots can be seen on most of the grasses, 2 foot tall mushrooms trip the feet.

    Progress through the affected area will be 1/4 the normal rate.

    The wave of spectral energy floods out of Sandu to a distance of 120 feet, rushing by and around Izzek and Beiro in the process. As it goes by the grasses and vines seem to loosen and separate making travel, still difficult, easier, now twice as much ground can be covered in the same amount of time [movement speed only at 1/2 instead of 1/4]. Sandu then makes his way another 15 feet through the growth.

    The mindless beast staggers just one step as it brushes against the overgrown field and Milosh is able to deftly duck out of the way of the thing's tusks.

    [Boar 2 is still not in sight, I forgot on map Huge creatures should be 3x3; Beiro's turn. Note - the two spaces with the "X" in them just in front of Milosh are still the 1/4 speed plant growth effect, everything east of them is 1/2 speed difficult terrain]

    Milosh, sees that his buddies are on their way to back him up and heads in their direction as best he can. [uses his movement in Beiro's direction 15 ft due to difficult terrain] He draws one of his scimitars and begins whirling it till it's arch gives off a metallic note. He then starts whistling a discordant harmony that assaults the druid's mind like angery voices. [dissonant whispers at 1st level. He needs to make a DC 15 wisdom save or take (3d6)[9] psychic damage and use his reaction to move as far from me as possible.]

    As Milosh moves into the tall grasses the boar swings it's head back piercing Milosh in the back of his left shoulder. [19 dmg].

    Shouting out in pain Milosh curses the beast, and casts a spell at its master. As the sound of his blade whirls mingle with the discordant whistling the druid stops in his tracks. He shakes his head, tossing spores about him, he beats his temple with the palm of his free hand, then stumbles away back to the west trying to cover his ears. [9 dmg].

    If I’m reading things right, dashing through the difficult terrain moves me 30 feet, bringing me to 10 feet ahead of Izzek? Still figuring out where that leaves me in relation to everyone else. Most of my spells are still outside their effective range at the moment.

    Milosh slashes away drawing his other scimitar in a flourish as much to cut through the thick vegetation as to ward off further attacks from the boar. [draw other scimitar, disengage, use full movement toward Sandu.]

    The druid finally clears his head of the discordant sounds and turns to see the huge boar falling to the ground at the axe swing of the armored firbolg. He also sees the bard with the wand chopping his way toward another approaching armored figure.

    he walks back 30 feet to the east while casting another spell...

    [Druid casts confusion centered on the point midway between Beiro and Milosh (both are in the area of effect). Each must make a DC 13 Wisdom save or be effected.]

    ”You’ve looked better!” he shouts, trying to make light of the situation. His eyes dart to the Druid, and he thrusts his staff towards the enemy spellcaster. As he does so, ghostly hands rise from the ground to claw at their foe...

    Also I envision this as Milosh’s back being to Sandu, for extra drama if Milosh fails his Confusion save and Sandu doesn’t realize it.

    The druid maintains concentration on his confusion spell, and the boar succeeded in goring Beiro [10 dmg after fighting spirit reduction]. The second Boar continues to charge closer, getting slowed by the overgrown vegetation.
