The endless cycle (3.5 trying out pbp)

After gathering his things, and saying a short prayer Frederick returns to the party, upon hearing everyone take a vote on the door of fighting, he says "I believe we should take the door as well. Frederick then steps to the side, before asking in a rather strange tone "Who should go first?" holding the grip of his sword as it hangs in it's sheathe.

The gnome quickly runs past mannix and disappears down the tunnel.

The rest of the group gathers up near the door as a banging begins at the double door, and fredrick checks to see who is going first

Mannix watches as everyone shoots past him in an attempt to get through the spot before fighting begins.... bringing up the rear mannix follows the rest of the group

The gnome quickly vanishes from thorgam's sight as he runs off muttering about doing his part. The party follows in the order of thorgam,dave,yonaton,fredrick,and mannix

This path is dark,almost pitch black in fact, but thorgam's eyes are well suited to the darkness and he moves along at a steady pace untill he sees a split in the path going east and west with no sign of the gnome in either direction.

the path going east looks to have been used recently by someone or something that is heavy and drags. While the west path looks unused for ages with thick dust and webs along the way

Mannix advances down the east path looking and noticing things that others have not, meanwhile thorgam goes to the west making a mess of dust and webs as they throw into the air slowing him down to half his speed for a while

Dave and the rest of the party stand indecisive at the path watching them walk away

After trudging through webs for what seems like an eternity, Torgham has some second thoughts.

"Ah, I don' think 'e went this way. We'll try the other path."

He turns around, only to see the rest of the party (save the monk) still trying to decide on a path, and certainly not within hearing range of his previous observation.

"Everyone? He's not this way!" He shouts at the group while sluggishly marching away from the webs. "Don' wait on me, jus' take the other corridor!"

"Everyone. Careful with your eyes."

Yonaton readies his light crossbow and casts the cantrip light upon it, illuminating the area around him.

what is going on with yalls spot rolls lol, also austin actually failed his but i was sleepy and said he passed so..he passed

Yonaton pulls his crossbow out amd with a short warning to the others mutters arcane words and causes it to glow for a while lighting up the area for the ..humans to see ( go ahead and refer to spoiler on spot check dc 18 ,roberto went down the west path a bit and came back with stuff on him)

Mannix looks back to notice a light shinning from the area from whence he came. He trudged on down the hallway though

Decision made Yonaton makes his way down the eastern path. He purposefully tries to hang back just enough so those who can see in the dark can keep their advantage if they need to hide.

Frederick follows the party down the hallway stopping at the forked path, after watching Torgham return from the west path, he decides to follow the party down the east path. As he follows, he raises the following question, "if the gnome had the let us out, how did he not know about this passage?" Frederick then follows along trying not to get to far behind as he is slower.

Due to mannix moving ahead, he is now 35ft up from the rest of the party followed by dave,yonaton,thorgam, and fredrick due to their lower speeds..it has been 2 minutes since thorgam came back and it looks like the mess is slowly falling off him..

Fredrick asks a question while following and has the attention span of a kender today so he doesnt notice things

Mannix being agile on his feet, quickly jumps outta the way without hesitation. However to the parties dismay he was not aware the party has started down the path and thus has said nothing.

The party hears mannix sound like he just dodged something when suddenly dave grabs at his shoulder with a dart sticking out, it deals (1d6)[5] and he needs to make a dc 15 fort save!!

Torgham sees Dave weaken before his eyes and rushes to his aid.

"I dinnae think I've seen this before. Hold on..."

He looks to the ceiling for a bit, whispering a prayer to Xemus that he may restore Dave's strength...

...But it goes unanswered.

"I'm sorry. Xemus won't grant us help just yet. We'll need to wait 'till mornin'. Can ye stand?"

Dave manages to get to his feet then staggers. As he feels the poison course through his veins
