    Coaxing directions from the stricken man without raising suspicion as to their intention, the five wolves in sheeps clothing obtain specific instructions on this entry into the war room:

    "Go down this hallway and take a right. There's a series of service lifts there that lead to different areas. They have dedicated backup power so they should be unaffected by the damage to the rest of the floor. Take lift number three and take it up to the power substation 82A. Follow the perimeter of the room until you reach a red security door, then force it open. That will take you to substation 82B. On the opposite side of the room is a staircase. Follow that staircase up one floor and it will take you into a supply room. This supply room connects directly with the war room," the man stops for a moment then muses, "Maybe I should write that down for you?"

    The rubble-filled hallway of the engineering floor proves surprisingly easy to navigate, although something of concern does catch the eye: the charred remains of a soldier keeled over a tripwire trap. It appears whoever was through here earlier left surprises for any soldiers coming after them. With heightened diligence, the party presses forward. Service lift 3 is exactly where it was supposed to be, and with the press of a button the lights turn on and the door opens. The lift is much smaller than the spacious and luxurious elevators of the main transit line of the tower. There is no pleasant voice attendant, just a simple control terminal. Sarkus' bulky mecha suit scrapes against the walls and his companions alike in the more confined elevator.

    The door opens and ears are filled with a deafening hum. Massive power cables are fed into an array of metal devices, routing power throughout the floors. Unlike the lower floors here there is no obvious damage. Following the perimeter of the room and passing a yellow security door, the party arrives at the promised red security door. Sarkus, being the strongest in the group, kneels down and replicates the feat of strength Gourgos showed off earlier. True enough the floor gives way to sufficient force and he finds a grip underneath the door and forces it open.

    The party enters a room that could be a mirror image of the previous one, if not for a large smoking gash in the wall. On the opposite side of the room an exposed metal staircase extends upwards.

    One of the transformers appears to have been damaged by the explosion from the nearby wall. Walking by it could be hazardous, but it can be avoided by walking the longer clockwise route around the room rather than counter-clockwise

    Two armed soldiers crouch near the center of the room, concealing themselves amidst some debris. They appear distracted by something nearby the smoking area of the wall.
