[NeoSeraphi]

The girl's eyes light up as Rachel approaches. "Hello! Miss, won't you please come to the fencing club? We meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after lunch. Even if you're not a fencer yourself, there are plenty of activities you can perform to support the team, or even just showing up once in a while will let them know you're rooting for them. They appreciate that."

...That's odd. This girl is wearing a rapier on her hip but she keeps referring to the fencing club as 'them' instead of 'us'.

[Diachronos]

"I've been thinking about it. But... aren't you a member of the club too?"

[NeoSeraphi]

Her cheeks turn red. "O-oh, no, I'm...just filling in because the captain was hurt. My name is Felicia. I am the head of the support staff. We try to help the team stay hydrated, energized, and well-prepared. We're always looking for help too, if that's more your style."

The fencing club meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Whenever Rachel attends, she has the option of either practicing fencing or helping support the team. She can do either as often as she likes, and there is no penalty for switching it up with each visit.

Practicing fencing improves Rachel's combat skills and builds her Affection with Lance.

Working with the support staff earns Rachel a bit of income and builds her Affection score with Felicia.

[Diachronos]

Rachel nods. "I'd be happy to help out."

[NeoSeraphi]

Felicia smiles. "Alright then! If I could just get your infor- oh! It looks like you're living at the Construct dorm as well! What a coincidence." She files the information away.

[Diachronos]

Rachel blinks. "You live in the Construct Dorm too?"

[NeoSeraphi]

Felicia smiles. "Yeah. Small world, isn't it? Maybe we'll see each other around."

Which club will Rachel visit next?

[Diachronos]

Rachel decides to check out the research club next. It sounds like something she'd actually do well at.

[NeoSeraphi]

Rachel heads over to the research club stand, where she is surprised to see Yvette standing.

"Oh, hey Rach. You here to check out the clubs? Wow, you're just surprising me more and more every day."

[Diachronos]

She nods. "I checked out the band and fencing club. Right now I'm just seeing what there is."

[NeoSeraphi]

Yvette grins. "Well, welcome to the research club stand then. You might not realize this, but a lot of our teachers here at Naturia Circle do research and publish academic papers when they're not teaching. To that end, I came up with a research club that helps do some of the legwork for the teachers. In exchange, you get extra credit on assignments. We meet on Sundays and we work all day long, so if you're interested you should come by."

The research club increases Rachel's Knowledge, as well as lowering the bar for her to do well on the next test she takes. However, this activity takes the entirety of the Sunday block (from sun up to sun down). Additionally, as Yvette is the head of the club, she is completely unavailable to spend time with Rachel on Sunday outside of club activities.

[Diachronos]

Rachel hesitates. The extra credit would be extremely helpful, but... does she really want to devote all of her time every Sunday to it?

After giving it some thought, she shakes her head. "I'm not sure it's the kind of club for me. But thanks, Yvette."

[NeoSeraphi]

Yvette nods. "Okay. See you later!"

Which club will Rachel visit next?

[Diachronos]

She heads to investigate the alchemy club next.

[NeoSeraphi]

The senior teacher's assistant from her Chemistry class is carefully mixing two compounds together. He looks up at Rachel as she approaches. "Ah. Miss Denethar. A pleasure to see you again. Are you interested in the marvels of alchemy? Alchemists seek to take the typical transmutation magic one step further, and ultimately change everything around them into more perfect objects and persons."

[Diachronos]

Rachel nods and looks at the equipment he has out. "I've thought about looking into alchemy, but I was never really sure if it would fit with conjuration."

[NeoSeraphi]

Varsuvius shrugs. "I suppose how it 'works' depends on your personal reason for why you are studying conjuration in the first place. What do you hope to gain with that specialization?"

[Diachronos]

"Well..." That's a good question. Why is she studying conjuration? "...I guess I've always been intrigued by the other planes of existence."

[NeoSeraphi]

The senior sighs and shakes his head. "For someone who enjoys reading so much, you seem quite indecisive as to your own motivations. I suggest you take time to think on this."

[Diachronos]

Rachel nods. "I guess you're right. I'll come back once I know what I'm working toward."

[NeoSeraphi]

He smiles. "I hope to see your progress soon."

That leaves the cooking club and the Risette fan club, which should she check out first?

[Diachronos]

Rachel heads to examine the cooking club's activities.

[NeoSeraphi]

The cooking club appears to be run by one of the freshmen teachers. She's currently talking about the club with a different student.

"...sweets, meats, breads, vegetables, all kinds of things dear. I will instruct you and you will create, and then once it's over and done you get to dine on the fruits of your labor!"

Ciel grins. "Awesome! I'm going to become a master chef. Rachel won't even know I'm the same person after this. She'll be totally amazed with my skills!"

[Diachronos]

Rachel smiles upon seeing Ciel getting this excited. At least he'd found something enjoyable to occupy his free time with. She approaches the booth.

[NeoSeraphi]

Ciel looks surprised to see her. "Sis? What are you doing here?"

Hey! She's not that asoc-...okay yeah maybe she has been that asocial the last few years. But this year is different!

[Diachronos]

"I'm trying to open up a little more this year."

[NeoSeraphi]

Ciel smiles. "Well, do you want to join this club with me then? This club doesn't have a lot to do with magic, but I think that's what I'm most worried about. We're going to this school that's focused on teaching us how to cast spells and the history of magic and all that other stuff, and I don't feel like I'm being prepared much for life in the real world. But if I can cook, that's one less thing to worry about."

Surprisingly mature, given his age. And cooking does sound like fun...

[Diachronos]

Rachel nods. "Yeah, I think I'd be interested in giving it a try."

[NeoSeraphi]

The teacher smiles. "Come by any Monday, Wednesday or Friday then."

The last club to visit is Risette's fan club.

[Diachronos]

Rachel decides to at least check out the fan club, even if she doesn't have much interest in joining it.
