Kheldar, glad that Francis brought the fight up closer to him and providing a flanking buddy as well as a handy distraction (no offense), takes a small step to position an enemy (probably a hobgoblin) squarely between himself and Francis, and unleashes true stabbity death.

[Rapier: 24(+2 Flanking=26) to hit, 1 damage, 10 sneak attack damage.
Shortsword: 25(+2 Flanking=27) to hit, 3 damage, 8 sneak attack damage.]
I can't believe both of the attack rolls were 1 under a crit threat...

Wincing at the beating that Francis is taking, Kheldar moves quickly over to the next enemy and attacks mightily, hoping to thin their numbers before they are able to bring the sack of metal and flesh down.

I got a feeling he'll need to move more than 5 feet on this one, so Kheldar will be tumbling to get into position.

Kheldar, still in the midsts of teh Hobgoblins starts to drop another one. Francis finally gets a grip on the combat and smashes one of his attackers. Dmitri, roll a d100.

Dmitri, with a humble, but confused look on his face from the puzzling command that the great divine being above issued, timidly sits down cross-legged and drops a little piece of plastic onto the ground. (Or he doesn't, if you'd rather he didn't.)

Anyway, Finally the hobgoblins realize the halfling that has been wreaking havoc on their brethren and attack him as well as Francis.

Neatly dodging both of the blows aimed at him (though one came uncomfortably close), Kheldar tumbles again to get one of the enemies that attacked him between him and Francis, and then lashes out with his rapier as before, this time along with a string of taunting.
"And I suppose your mothers taught you how to fight! You sick-faced big-nosed buffoons, you'd flinch at the sight of a common squirrel!"

Both Kheldar's and Dmitri's attacks fall short of their target, but Francis manages to hit home. As Francis swings, A hobgoblin falls painfully to the ground in a pool of blood. Dmitri can I get another d100 roll from you?

May I ask why I am rolling d100's? If this is to make sure I don't hit an ally, you needn't worry about it; I'm taking off 4 from my attack rolls, to ensure that I don't hit an ally... That's how it works in plain old 3.5 anyway...

Yeah it was to see if you where going to hit either of your friends. I didn't know you took 4 off, my bad.

As the hobgoblins try to continue the fight, the orc, hiding behind the rest, screams to the remaining 'gobbos, "Fall back, RETREAT!" The hobgoblins then attempt to scatter back to wherever it is they came from. AoO's if you want.

Not being accustomed to valor in combat or anything silly like that, Kheldar has no second thoughts about thinning further their numbers as the hobgoblins retreat, to ensure that hopefully he won't have to end up fighting that one again.
He'll make the AoO against the hobgob that he was just about to flank but he missed at.

"Thanks for popping bye, hope to see you again sometime!" He then calls out in the goblin's own language.

As the hobgoblins retreat, their numbers fall by one as Francis smashes one in the chest, causing it to drop to the ground in pain. Kheldar than finishes the hobgoblin off with a sharp poke in the chest. Dmitri shoots an arrow, but it falls short of his targets.

Since I didn't get anything awesome from the last batch." With that, he pockets the bauble with an expression on his face such that he might have been talking about the weather instead of the possessions of the dead.

As Dmitri picks up the arrows, you are once again left alone in the dungeon and the noise and cries of battle that filled the air just a moment before are gone now.

"Hey, it's alright, Dimitrie," Kheldar accidentally mispronounces Dmitri's name, "At least you get your fair share of the treasure." With that, Kheldar hands both Dmitri and Francis fifty gold each, before giving himself fifty gold.

"Well! I'm quite knackered. How about we take a nice rest for now, wait for Elf to come back?"
