One of Tarak's kamas cuts into his target. Meanwhile, Suga cuts the dwarf in half and runs into the shrine, seeing Tarak facing off with a dwarf with a morningstar.

"Good job!", Celesta shouts when the second dwarf falls and heads into the room. "Oi! You're in the way!", she complains as she makes her way towards the third dwarf to strike her with her spear.

As the dwarves fall, Feagon calls out. "Agreed. You guys are to be feared." he says as he turns and listens, checking to see if their battle was brought to hostile ears.

"Hah, it was fun enough, I hope the next are tougher. Sure, let's pack the armour." Celesta kneels down next to the priest's corpse and begins removing the armour.

Tarak finds a secret door in the west wall. Nothing else out of the ordinary is visible; the shrine is small, but appears to have been a location of worship for a number of dwarves.

As Feagon enters the room, he has a leery look on his face as Tarak finds the secret door.
"Grack, I know your people are at odds with these dwarves and they have been no friend to us, but I would not desecrate a shrine to a God. These dwarves are misguided but to call down the wrath of a God... is ill-advised."

Checking over his shoulder to check that everyone is present and accounted for, the hobgoblin slowly runs his hand along the seams of the hidden door and studies the visible mechanisms, before opening it.

Tarak finds no traps. The door opens to reveal a cramped passage.

"This place is unimportant," Grack tells Feagon, "though when the dglinkarz have been driven from the mountain, I don't imagine Zuhgan will want to leave a shrine to one of their gods here. There's no need to smash anything now."

"Which god did the dwarf worship?"

Tarak

"Gorm, I think they some times call him 'Fire Eyes'....the dwarven god of watchfulness and defense. I won't lie, I'm a little surprised that a follower of Gorm would be involved in....this, if we are to believe what we've been told."

The lanky hobgoblin ducks into the narrow passageway, "Come on."

Looking at the cramped passage, Suga has the others go through first and taking rear guard for this section.

Feagon prepares another arrow as Tarak takes the lead and Suga prods him forward.

Celesta has been disinterested about the conversation and grows impatient when they stop again. "A dead end? Then we might as well go back." She taps the wall with the blunt end of her spear.

[razorback]

"Agreed. Lets head back. Grack, any idea where we should proceed from here?"

[Kish]

Tarak finds a secret door in the west wall. Judging by the positioning, it will probably open into the room with the crates and barrels of supplies.

"There are likely to be dwarves everywhere we haven't been already," Grack says.

[razorback]

Feagon arches an eyebrow as he smirks. "Suppose that is true enough."
Giving out a small laugh, he shakes his head and gives a sigh. "I suppose they will be as... friendly as this group, but that is their way, I suppose." The mirth drains from the elf's face is it resolves into grim resolve. "Well, however this day turns out, let us get on with it. Tarak, you got the lead?"

Tarak

The hobgoblin nods at Feagon then pushes open the second secret door...

Sensing a change in attitude of those in front, Suga quietly moves up past the ones in the middle. Seeing Tarak about to open a door, Suga steps up and prepares for action.

[Kish]

The door opens, revealing the cavern you expected, still with no enemies visible.

Considering where you've been, you think the places you haven't explored at all are northwest of this cavern.

Taking just a moment to get his bearings, Tarak moves through the doorway and across the large cavern.

Once Tarak starts moving, Feagon gives him about 5 seconds before turning back to Grack and Suga to give them a thumbs up before moving out to follow.

Suga alertly follows Tarak across the cavern.

[Kish]

To the north, the corridor takes on a carved look, quite different from the apparently natural cavern you're in now. There seems to be a corridor that extends both to the east and west.

If you ask Grack for input, he confirms that both directions are unfamiliar to him, and presumably held by the dwarves.

Suga takes the lead up to the east/west split. He looks in either direction and sniffs the air. Choosing, he heads east to the closer door. He stops 10' back from the door and glances to Tarak to check the door.

Tarak moves forward quickly, past Suga and kneels to examine the door lock and mechanism.
