Alice put a hand on Ophelia's shoulder to try and comfort her. "Hey, trust me, I know, it's really annoying falling over all the time. But, hey, it's not all bad. After a while you kind of toughen up a bit and don't bruise or get hurt as easily, and every so often you fall into something fun!"

No sooner had she said that than an unexpectedly strong breeze whipped up and sent both her and Ophelia off-balance, falling sideways. They rolled a short distance - just enough to clear the corner of the building, around which was a narrow alley. An alley where a couple had apparently decided they had enough privacy to start some foreplay, because the pair were both shirtless and making out, while the man was fiddling with the woman's bra. "See?" Alice remarked quietly to Ophelia after getting her bearings again.

Sam, in a partial attempt to both inform her friend and cheer her up with a bit of humor, had located a neat little book called "12 Tips For Passing The Field Sobriety Test", which was full of informative tips on keeping ones balance despite impairment even if the subject matter wasn't quite the same context as Ophelia's problem. Of course, such things were all in the presentation, and when Alice provided such an obvious opportunity to emphasize the humor...well, she'd be a fool not to answer the door.
