Re: The Gifted Yay or Nay
The long and short of the Gifted is that it's an X-Men show. A lot of your enjoyment is dependent both on whether you like the X-Men (or other super-powered people as allegories to modern times) and your tolerance of angsty teens and young adults of questionable acting ability.
Also, it gets a little better towards the end and there's going to be a season 2.Last edited by Joran; 2018-02-15 at 02:26 PM.

Re: The Gifted Yay or Nay
I thought the first 6-8 episodes were pretty good. The focus on a family with normal parents and mutant children was well done.
But in episode 10, I hit a moment that I simply could not get past. Literally. I turned the episode off and haven't gone back to the remainder on DVR. I wont tell you what it is, though. But when a characte who should know better and be a better judge of character does something so mind-bogglingly ill-advised, it was time to stop.Keeper of the 49 Rules.

That's a pretty good summation of X-Verse films in general.
