I agree. If someone told me this trailer was for a Shadowrun movie I would believe it.
Ignoring the minor problem that they would have to add a logo.

On the one hand, yay for an Urban Fantasy movie!

On the other hand, Will Smith has been involved with some pretty wretched projects lately, and the director being the guy who did Suicide Squad doesn't inspire confidence.

So, this pretty much falls under the "please please don't suck" umbrella. Which I haven't had good luck with when it comes to "interestingly different" movies in recent years.

Then again, Blade Runner 2049 was quite enjoyable despite all expectations, so maybe I'm just being unnecessarily pessimistic.

Well, it seems more modern than cyberpunk, but other than that, yeah, totally Shadowrun.
