Default Plot hooks for Mentiri in the city of Dis.

    Hello Playground,

My group, in kind of a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours", will be approached by Dispater in the coming sessions to bid their assistance in a matter. Someone has been jailbreaking the mortals in Mentiri prison back to their origin planes of existence, respectively. While I have most of the plot thought out, I'm at a loss as to where to point the players to get things started. How would you even approach the task of uncovering a jailbreaking ring? Before I'd started this thread, I was dumbfounded but I've managed to get one lead:

    1) The players go to the prison itself and look for clues/speak to guards to see if it's an inside job.

Does anyone else have any ideas? Maybe someone has thought of something similar to this?

    Player: But there's masonry.
DM: It's not even animate, let alone sentient.
Player: That's ok. I'll take the penalty.

Thanks for your reply! I'll likely end up using all of these in some fashion as it will likely take more than a couple sessions to get this resolved :)
