I ignore the electric eel for now and continue to try and kill the octopus.

Blood arcs across the room once, twice, thrice, and the dribbles from....not the Octopus, but Hiss. Your blow managed to find a gap between the octopus arms.

Hiss is limp and the octopus squirms weakly.

You claw the octopus off of Hiss's face.

They both appear to be dead.
