The old man is gone. There is, however, an old man shaped hole, which widens quickly even as you turn around. You can't be sure what is through the hole because there is the front half of a creature similar to the one you just slew stuffing itself through. Fortunately, it is only about half way through and and seems momentarily stuck - [b]and[/i] it isn't invisible. Yet. Unfortunately that is the front half, with the blades - and this one is much larger than the last one.

Poking his head from the the ground he is elated to actually see something he dives back in and makes way towards the creature.

Of course. It brought a friend. Gritting his teeth against the expected lash of these strangely sharp bladed limbs, Ghil charges back into the fight, hoping to arrest the creature's progress before it fully emerges and has the freedom to move about.

Hibr misses the creature. He also realizes quite quickly that the back of the creature isn't present - it is apparently stuffing itself into the world via a portal to somewhere else.

Reza realizes the same, but is able to aim at the front end without immediately endangering any of the others, but doing only minor damage, perhaps thrown off by the extra-dimensional element to the combat.

Sil's color spray hits! Like the previous creature, this one is apparently not immune, sagging slightly and stopping in its struggle to emerge from the portal. Unfortunately Ghil's strike is slightly awkward, hitting the creature but sliding off its tough, rubbery skin.

Now that the enemy is being mobbed by allies, Reza floats up to rooftop level, watching for more threats to appear...

The creature shakes off the color spray and screeches. Ghil's blade bites deep, but he feels more resistance than expected, and Sil's blades strike true but don't seem to do any damage. The same orange blood falls. The creature seems most upset about Hibr, though, writhing away from the draining touch and redoubling its effort to emerge fully from the portal.

It does have time to attack with both of its scythe-like front limbs, though. It strikes at Hibr and at Ghil!

Not sure if you missed my action last round since I didn't see it in the next post you made, but I made a move action which provoked an AoO. I then used my primary attack (bite) with an attack roll of 15 and damage roll of 12.

Edit: since I screwed up the damage rolls I'll make a desperate post in ooc thread.

The creature seems to be badly wounded, but it's thrashing has finally succeeded in freeing it! Wherever it was coming from, the rift or portal has closed and it moves with an eerie grace now that it isn't wedged between dimensions. It shouldn't take much to finish it, but it might be a tougher target.

It again takes the opportunity to slash at those in range - Ghil and Vyory in this case!

Feeling unsteady on his feet, Ghil decides to change his tactics. The massive falchion drops the ground tip first, burying itself several inches into the soft earth as the troll focuses his eldritch bond to call forth a shroud of fire.

Ghil is using Aym's halo of fire ability so further attacks against him will cause 1d6 fire damage. This won't necessarily stop the creature from dropping him with another strike, but it will make sure he gets a little more damage in and discourage the thing from trying to eat him, buying time to heal.
