Harnetta and Sophia informed Wenomir, who then made the announcement. (Post 808)
Anika hears the alarm.
Awen responds to the broadcast.
Gary and Anika respond to the alarm.
Reinholdt hears the alarm.
Kal and Kalya show up.
Felandria, with Reinholdt, show up.
A very colorful bird flies in.
Alice shows up.
Mia was already in Riverside.
The bird is a dragon.
Xavouir arrives a little late.

Assuming the bird-dragon is Spako and that Reinholdt is included under "Felandria", and Harnetta and Sophia aren't included for some reason, then that's everybody.


Now, I'm curious about group dynamics:
Team 1: a master swordsman, a World War II soldier, and an inexperienced witch
Team 2: a stormy demigod (and a sniperkitty), a sword+magic daemon, and an elf adventurer
Team 3: a sexy tiefling and a dedicated centaur
Refugee Team: a talented necromancer and a dragon-bird
I think I got that all right?

Seems balanced.

That's more or less it, yes. I didn't include Harnetta and Sophia because I didn't know if they'd be participating.

No. I simply stopped posting because the holiday season was over and there's only so much I can come up with for kids throwing snowballs.

I figured if one team will go for each Infernal, Kal and Alice wouldn't be enough. Felandria evens it out a bit.

But no problem with that.

I should give everyone partaking in the riverside invasion plot a fair warning.
These encounters were not designed with PC's winning in mind (not that I won't try to be fair in combat of course) so they will possibly be quite difficult. VIGIL is going to be hit especially hard.

Welcome! To briefly explain it, the Nexus is a sort of massive crossover freeform settings with many intersecting plots and a number of established location. Just about any character concept will do fine, and most people begin by dipping their feet in with some casual interaction. Do you have any characters in mind?

Hi! We have a 3-step program for people wanting to start.

(1) Create a character you want to roleplay. This can be as complicated as a huge character sheet and pages of info, or just a simple "name, appearance, personality" in mind. If you want to post it somewhere, there's a character directory, but that's entirely optional. When I started, I didn't like my first character so I ended up replacing them with a different one later. In general, I feel like fewer details are better at first.

(2) Pick a thread you want to post in. Trog's Tavern and the Dancing Fox Inn are fairly generic taverns, so I would recommend to go there. There are others that are good places to start, as well: if one catches your eye, read the first post of that thread to get the gist of it.

(3) Post in that thread. There are conventions that make posts easier to respond to. Try to make your post clear (and use paragraphs if necessary). You probably should include a name and description of your character. Have your character doing something (whether that's ordering food, reading a book, cleaning a gun, singing about how big their muscles are, or just people-watching) because that gives everyone an easier ice-breaker to interact with your character.
