Fleshwarper Refluffing
I'm looking to mock up a fleshwarper/grafter type character in 4e by refluffing existing classes and powers. Does anyone have any recommendations for what class or combination of classes would be best for such a character? It would be a leader and item crafter. The idea is that instead of magic items, they create (functionally identical) grafts and instead of magical buffs, they would grant other players temporary mutations. I'm considering artificer, but I'm not sure.

Re: Fleshwarper Refluffing
Honestly, it sounds like artificer to me, though, it could really be done with *any* leader. It really just depends upon how you see fleshwarping in your mind's eye. Shaman could be an interesting interpretation, especially if you refluff the Shaman's Spirit Companion as a fleshy companion cube type object that you peel off of yourself and hurl onto the battlefield.

Re: Fleshwarper Refluffing
I'd say Shaman and Ardent abilities are the easiest to justify with fleshwarping fluff. Does Wisdom or Charisma fit the character you have in mind?
