    Vosnak enters the room and heads over by Ilnesh. He glances at the pendant as he passes by. "The boy has proven valuable. If his information continues to be correct we'll be facing a shrieker behind one of these doors. We should be ready to silence it as quickly as possible once we find it then be ready for whatever its noise attracts."

    Ilnesh nods to Vosnak, replying quietly before slipping into the corridor. "I'll do what I can, but I'm not in great fighting shape at the moment. I'll scout ahead quickly, better chance not to be snoticed if its me alone."

    "Hmmmm. I have a way to scout without light, but the movement part is the challenge assuming even opening a door will be enough to set it off. I suggest we open the door staying out of sight. If that sets it off we rush in to silence it. If it stays silent I can try peering into the room through my crystal. Either way, be ready for a two part fight."

    The room is completely dark, but unlike the previous room your light illuminates it, revealing a large purple mushroom in the middle of this room. The mushroom immediately begins making a deafening wailing noise.

    Ixe exclaims, "Oh! Aha!" and, propping his staff against the wall, he begins to retrieve his light crossbow from [wherever it is that he carries it], as if he had totally forgotten about it. (Which, in truth, he had.) He fumbles about for some bolts and begins to load it. Once that it accomplished, he moves to AA19.

    Jeyne pulls out a piece of jade from her spell component pouch with an incredible amount of dexterity, honed from years of practice, and imbeded into muscle memory. Her arcane words, verbal flourish, and training quickly cause the jade component to flare away. It slowly begins to spiral in front of Jeyne and over the course of six seconds grows rapidly in size.

    A hail of stonesCA pg.110 will do (2d4+4)[10] points of damage when it comes into effect. Will choose all pertinent decisions about a spell (range, target, area, effect, version, and so forth) when the spell comes into effect.

    The dagger strikes the leading corpse, but the energy ray misses. Then Ixe casts his spell and three of them lose their balance and fall. Timeon fires a crossbow bolt at the one the energy ray was aimed at and hits, though the bolt barely penetrates the creature's skin.
