Pumpkin scented persimmons?
So I bought some persimmons a week ago to find out what the heck a persimmon is, cracked them open today... and they have very firm flesh, taste of very mild Asian pears, smell very strongly of pumpkin, and have yellow/orange skins.
Is... this right? Or are these under ripe or bad or something?Meow(Steam page)

That's right. You'd know if they were under ripe, they'd leave your mouth feeling like it had been scrubbed by a pine-scented cotton swab. They're sweet when ripe, prior to that... they're puckery, without being sour.
