I try to break out of the Entangle. I read the spell. I should have had a Str Save when it is first cast, and if I fail, I can make a Str check on my turn (same modifier, +3).

The dog comes bounding back to the area and looks at you quizzically with head tilted. You shout commands and point at the target. He hesitates, living trees being strange prey to him.

The dog lunges at the dryad, unfortunately he misses.

Laucien, you're revived by the gods, acting through Thorak. You're up

Laucian comes to on the ground, realizing he had been stabbed... to death? He looks up at his assailant, pendulous pecker swinging inches from his face. This is NOT how he dies!

Using his blessing, mettle and favor, he stands, disengages, screams, and fires an iron arrow!

Should be enough to break out. I’ll move out of the area, toward the dryad, and use a Bonus Action to throw up Shield of Faith for a +2 AC (20 total).

The Satyr grabs two cowering fauns by the scruff of the neck.

Satyr follows up with a powerful backspin short sword stab on the restrained Tessania. The blow strikes true and would have killed Tessania, but at the last second skillfully produces Shield, absorbing the strike.

A faun scrapes Tessania with a broken wine bottle for 1 damage!

The other faun runs up to Laucien and half heartedly swings at Laucien with a chair leg, missing.

The dog gamely attacks the Dryad, following the initial command, but his teeth don't penetrate her barkskin. The dryad swings at Thorak with her empowered Shillelagh, critically missing what would have been a nasty blow.

Suddenly, the girl in the horse mask forced to crawl on the floor serving drinks pops up behind the Dryad and body slams her, while still wearing the horse mask. The dryad is now prone (shove action).

Being in a real bind Tessanna panicly gathers all her power and yell sleep!
36hp worth of monster(s) (their current hp, not hp max) falls asleep. Starting with the lowest hp. I of course want to include the satyr.

The girl in the horse mask was about to stomp on the prone dryad, when it falls unconscious. She stops and looks around confused. One of you finish the dryad off, having only a few hp left.

You all successfully perform the sacrifice ritual on the Satyr, painting its body with runes, praying, then splitting its throat and cheering as it dies.

Laucien was correct, the Satyr was a worthy sacrifice, while the fauns would have been an insult.

All gain 1 favor. The sacrifice can be done as part of a short rest. Post up if you use HD to heal.

"Get this ****ING mask off me, you savages!" Yells the girl in the mask. It appears to be strapped behind her where she can't reach.

I used both of my hit dice to go from 4 hp to 9 hp. He's feeling pretty rough, but puts on a happy face for ritual sacrifice and corpse looting.

"You should have said something sooner! Do you not speak sylvan? I had just assumed..."

He cleans his blade and cuts off whatever... restraints... she may be wearing, and repeats what he said before.

Laucien cuts away the mask, and nearly gasps at the sudden sight of an alien face staring back. She has all the features of a humanoid face, but in bizarre proportions. Her eyes, the color of pale mint, enormous. The thin long, and flat nose ending in a tiny bell shape. A small delicate mouth like a human infant. Spectacular long thin dagger shaped ears poke out of her snow white hair, angled backward and reaching nearly to the back of her head. Either angelically beautiful or grotesquely inhuman, depending on your perspective.

"Sorry," as she turns. "No wings. Ground fairy. My luck." She tips her triangular chin at Laucien, "Your Sylvan has a terrible accent." She giggles.

"This was my house. Or refuge. Civil War in the Seelie Court, brewed by Unseelie agitators. These were the Queen's entourage. The factions all broke down, it's anarchy there."

She draws up and steps back, prideful and defensive. "I'm princess Mia, daughter of the true Queen, Schia of Seelie." Her body tightens like a bowstring.

"And, yes, I started your plague."

As Tessanna study this beautiful creature, she ransacks her memory, from when she read her moms strange books of the arcane. Or her heart of darkness feature.

When Mia then mentions that she were the cause of the plague, tessanna is complete unprepared for that. And instead of readying an attack she flabbergasted asks "Why"?

"It wasn't intentional. A few months ago I noticed a bear acting bizarrely, when I came closer I saw it was deformed and misshapen, something was growing out of its head. I sensed it was in pain, so I tried to kill it.

"But I only injured it. It panicked and ran off into the lake in your direction, where it finally died. It must have contaminated your water. Sorry!" She giggles, nervously.

It's only a matter of time before other tribes catch it as well. Not that I care much for you barbaric warmongering savages, but I care about animals, so we can mutually benefit.
