At this point, the pheasant has arrived, and the two start eating. Muun eats with little table manners, while Anatya clearly takes more care with her meal.

Kin just smiles slightly, and shakes her head.
"Just some strong weapons that people could use to cause a lot of problems.
Aside from the box.
That's just a thing for storing other things inside of."

Lynx's eyes go wide and he leans back arms out, gesturing to Alysha. "Finally! Somebody agrees! I've been wearing this for something like 4 days-washing it each night, I'm not a slob-and everybody I've met has said at one point or another that I look silly. Thank you!" Okay Lynx, calm down. It's just a compliment.

Alysha chuckles. I mean, yeah, a little silly. But that's good! Silly is great!

"Circumstances, that quite frankly, are none of your business," Muun says forcefully.
"Forgive my husband," Anatya explains. "We both had a...troubled past." They both take seats at the bar.

At this, Alysha turns her attention to the couple, giving them a warm smile and wave.

Alysha brings a finger to her mouth, donning a thoughtful expression.

Oh, boy, let's see...threat to me personally? Getting turned into a vampire. Threats to me and other people? Huge swarm of Heartless a couple of years ago. But that was on another world, not here.

"I'm not sure what a Heartless is, but what we're running from, is far far worse than any vampire I've ever met." Muun says. There is a moment of silence. "Is anyone here a member of Merc? I'm interested in joining, but I hear you have to prove yourself to one of the members first." he says, casually changing the subject.

A Heartless is a creature that comes from a person giving in to the darkness inside them. Mean, usually in large numbers, and some of them get huge.

At the MERC question, Alysha shakes her head. I'm not. Not sure about anybody else here, though.

After hearing the description of the Heartless, Muun admits, "That actually does sound pretty dangerous. As for MERC, I guess we'll just go to the main office, apply for licenses, introduce myself to one of the members, and go from there. I don't suppose you know any members, do you." The meal has made him noticeably more talkative.

After Muun finishes, Anatya adds, "I'm thinking on applying for a MERC license as well. By the way, I don't think we've introduced ourselves. My name is Anatya, and my husband's name is Muun."

Alysha's is super energetic. A bit more firm of a grip than one would expect from a girl her size. Might be the vampire strength.

There's a flash of light, and suddenly she's holding what a appears to be a metal bodied banjo, but shaped like a giant skeleton key. Up at the head of the banjo, a green lily pad is placed, shaped to look kind of like the teeth for the key. Hanging from the other end is a keychain of a lily pad.

It's a weapon and a key. It can lock and unlock pretty much anything. Including connections between worlds. Also channels magic really well, so I use it for my magic.

Somebody new enters the tavern! They're a young male human, with pale skin and shoulder-length blond hair. They are fairly short, and very slender. Their eyes are an icy blue, and they wear... Odd clothing. They're wearing a pair of long jeans that drag on the floor and a t-shirt with some kind of design on it, but as it's also inside-out, it's hard to make it out. On their feet are a pair of trainers, with mismatched laces- one is black and the other is yellow. On their head they wear a battered straw hat. They walk and move in an even odder manner than their clothing, since they don't seem to bend their knees as they walk, resulting in a strange, awkward-looking walk.

They'll stop at the bar and call the bartender over. "Hello, fellow human person! I wish for a drink. How do I go about acquiring such a beverage?"

Sooo, then, what is your story?" Kin asks, taking a sip of a very strong drink. "If you don't mind me asking."

Sitting down, Nox says, "Once, a very long time ago, I was a holy knight. I would hunt down abominations for my god, and would slay those abominations. Eventually I was killed by a lich, but that only served to strengthen my will to continue my mission. I entered the cane, which I admit is not the best choice of aesthetic for what I do." He looks down at the cane for a moment. "The force of me entering the cane made it warp through dimensions. It crashed into the ground near Riverside, where Zaphiel found it, and by extension, me." He waits for any comments, questions, etc.
