So teams have equal information we're still figuring out exact details but looking at Arcoscephale for our Pretender we'll let you know if that changes.

Since this is a 4 person team game and we both presumably want to coordinate moves I'm going to set it to 48 hours a turn from the start, but with auto-host on so if you're good then put in your turns and we can knock earlier turns out faster.

Like I said earlier, I'll put it on 48 hour turns with auto-host on, so it gives plenty of time to coordinate but if teams are coordinated then we can do the first few turns quickly.

Speaking of which, has anybody had any stories of ludicrous start positions they want to share?

The worst 2 I've ever gotten were that game where 3 players started LITERALLY adjacent to each other, and another game where a random map put me in a walled off choke point where the only exit on land was through a level 2 throne.

I've had underwater nations start with all-terrestrial capital circles before. Can't pull terrestrial provinces' resources into unterwater fortresses (or vice versa), so you tend to be resource-starved. Not necessarily fatal, but it makes aquatic units in your starting army more or less completely useless and mostly removes access to high-resource national troops until you can get underwater fortresses in better locations. Also makes certain sacreds, e.g. Living Pillars, even more of a pain to use than they normally are.

I've also had starts with only one land/sea province adjacent to my terrestrial/aquatic capital, which is almost as bad (possibly worse for certain land nations than a completely isolated start is for underwater nations, since some of them, e.g. MA Ulm, are rather lacking in low-resource units and so can be rather badly screwed early on if their capital is resource-starved).

There have been two new patches - a quick change from 5.12 to 5.13 on the same day. I'm up to date on both Pyth and Arco, but we should probably delay both games until everyone is.

Mostly bug fixes with a bit more of a buff to archers and some dialback of the attack rear command and a nerf to quickness, but not really much else big.
